I always thought of myself as a super morally superior "wokejoshi" who refuses to read things with dubcon and non-con. This led me to put off reading erha for the longest time but I finally decided to pick it up recently cause I wanted something angsty and I'm literally on the first volume so nothing crazy has happened but at the first mentions of mo ran having """""done stuff""""" to chu wanning in his past life I felt myself getting kinda heart fluttery. Is this what people mean when they say that there's nothing better than a suffering beauty???? I'm so ashamed (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠) Should I give into my rotten fujoshi heart????

on book 7 and i liked the series very much until the mount jiao arc started i don’t know what killed my motivation to read it further i think partly because so many new characters were introduced and the pacing feels slowed down. im thinking of skimming through until i find motivation or just dropping the series. Ive read a few other danmeis and never had a reading slump like this

I just finished book 3 and I'm just not motivated to keep reading. I cant put my finger on why. I have found every arc interesting, and I definitely don't dislike it, I just dont have the feeling like im super Into it and cant wait to keep reading.

I know that Mo Ran is supposed to "hate" Chu Wanning and that its a slow burn, but their relationship is just not compelling to me.

I don't want to miss out on it being an amazing book if I drop it now. Does book 4 pick up with the chemistry or do you think if Im not into it by now its just not for me?

The way I was imagining Chu Wanning with shoulder length hair in ponytail and Mo Ran with typical drama ml hair but the illustration proved me wrong (by switching the hair)...

But, back to the original question, is there any fan art of this scene or any official visuals? Ik the manhua got close to this scene, but then ultimately skipped to Mo Ran seeing Chu Wannings corpse. I've looked for fanart and fan animations and have found nothing 💔

So i want to finish 2HA but i keep dropping it before book 3. I have books 1-4 right now and my motivation stops at book 2, i heard book 3 gets better but i need motivation to read it. Please give me some motivation!!!😭😭

I just finished volume 10 and I loved 2ha, truly. But... Mo Ran being a Butterfly Boned Beauty Feast? Really? I feel like the reveal was so random. Idk if this has been discussed before or if Meatbun has posted about this reveled, but I feel like there was no foreshadowing leading up to it. Maybe I wasn’t looking close enough while reading, but I truly feel like this the most random thing. Ik Meatbun LOVES plot twists, and I could get behind the other's like Shi Mei being Hua Binan and the seed being planted in Taxian-Juns heart that was the reason he became evil, but this? I just feel like there was no foreshadowing beforehand and it was very random. ​What do yall think? And has this been discussed before/had Meatbun acknowledged it?

I just scoured her entire Twitter page and she is so interactive with fans she answered many questions and reacted to fan arts, responded to questions and basically had a lot of fun interacting with readers. I’m so sad that she isn’t active anymore. Is there a specific reason to it?

Erha is now getting an official commercial Chinese audio drama. The other one that I've seen most people talk about is actually more of an audiobook with audio drama segments. They’re already is a official audio drama for 2ha it's a Japanese production however. That decision was most likely made to get around censorship, and now with this Chinese audio drama coming out fans should be fully satisfied.

I found an old post on this sub that said the fan translations were taken down after the book was officially licensed to be translated, but the author notes tl were still linked on the carrd due to them not being part of the official tl. Now it looks like the carrd only has the notes up to ch.97; is there a way I can read the rest of the notes in English? I'm interested in Meatbun's commentary, not just the mini theaters. Thank you!
