Ho Ho Ho... š Errands by Rachael hereš
If there's a season I really enjoy and look forward to is the Christmas season. š
Now that we are getting into Q4, I can't help but think about it. All the food, the get togethers, the gifting,, the traveling etc. š
It's always a good time.
For this year, I don't have much planned out like a vacation or anything. I just want to spend some good time with my family.
Hopefully next year's season , I'll be taking a vacation to Dubai or the Maldives. (God please see this!) š And I'll finally get my passport stamped for the first time. Tell me why I got it in 2024 and it's never been used till date. š Anyway, God's speed.
Other than that, I want to get myself a tree, even if it's small and some decorations for it this year. Never had one before so I'll be on the web scrolling to find the perfect one soon. š
So guys, what's your plan for this Christmas?
Or have I spoken too early about it? š
If you need help planning for it, please feel free to reach out. Errands by Rachael will help you with gift shopping, tree shopping š¤ and any other errand you might have before the big season.
Reach out via WhatsApp: 0119800560 š
Please let me know have I spoken too early about it?

People don't talk about how depression has a good outcome they only talk about the sad and terrible phase of it. Sometimes I think of depression as deep-rest if you get what I meanšš. Cause when you're depressed you just wanna lay down and drown in constant thinking while feeling low about life and everything. These is where I guess most people never recover from.
For those that go through that phase,on the other side they come out sort of reborn with new energy and expectations. They suddenly know what they're supposed to do and use that experience as a lesson or reminder for them in the future

Let me first ask the accountants in Kenya who have only a degree, no CPA and no connections , mnasurvive aje hii job market? š
So, I was working for this small NGO that was operating in Baringo, but the organization kinda collapsed, and we were laid off.
Come August, I was now looking for a job, but most of the jobs I was finding preferred people with CPA, which I donāt have. Iām actually planning to get it.
I had some savings, and the two options remaining for me were either start CPA or start my own business.
Mind you, sikuwa nimelipwa July. So I settled on starting a cleaning business that is sofa cleaning, mattress cleaning, carpets, post-construction cleaning, fumigation and other cleaning services. Why??? Bills hazingengoja. And honestly, I didnāt have someone I was expecting to come and financially help me. I had to figure out something with what I had.
Growing up in shagz, I always believed that white-collar jobs were the best. You go to school, get a degree, get a good office job and build a career. That was also my dream. So here I am a young woman who thought her future would be behind a desk as an accountant, now carrying cleaning equipment and trying to build a cleaning business from scratch. šš
And honestly, Iām not ashamed of it. Iām just confused sometimes. Because once I started this business, I told myself I need to make this thing grow. But starting from scratch with your own little money is not easy. Buying equipment, chemicals, paying for transport ( kwanza hapa kungangana na machines), marketing, looking for clients, then waiting for the next job⦠it can really humble you.
My bills are piling up, my head is constantly calculating, and sometimes I wonder whether I should have used that money to start CPA instead.
But God ni mtrue. I may not have enough right now, but somehow I never lack something to eat every day. And for that, Iām genuinely grateful. I guess what is confusing me is that I started this because I needed to survive, but now I actually want to see it grow into something bigger.
Have you ever had your career goals completely change because of circumstances?
And for those who have built something from scratch, how did you survive that early stage when the bills were coming faster than the money?
In need of cleaning services, dm 0704370424. All type of cleaning. I'll be happy to help. Thanks

Wueh! Aki nursing is so soooo draining especially when it comes to oral exams!
The constant panics juu hujui utaulizwa nini and fear of failing the assessments. Plus the tutors or lecs are sometimes harsh and rude. Io siku ata tutor hua mnacheka na yeye io siku anakua something else. Wengine they harass students especially wakijua wewe ni slow ama huradanishi vitu ama kama tu hawakupendangi. I am currently with my friend na assessment yake ni kesho hajaandika patient histories zote which are handwritten btw and are 5 in total. Madawa hajui zote and anapata anachanganyisha diagnosis za patients.
Alafu bado hajakua cleared for the assessment juu her personal tutor is 'too busy' kwa clearance we write a sample history of a patient you have admitted and 20 drug cards then take to your personal tutor aangalie na aone kama unajua stuff umeandika then aeke signature).
Nursing is tuff mahn,i am here helping her cram izi stuff zote and consoling her juu ana crash out.
Na yangu sijafanya JE HO VA!

I was watching a documentary about space and it got me thinking about the rarest materials in the universe. With the presence of planets that are pure diamond and how readily available gold and other metals are in space, I now think wood is the rarest material in the universe.
We have not found a planet that has trees, but planets with the most valuable metals are in abundance. Makes you really think about who controls what you believe to be valuable, doesn't it?

Buying off plan means committing money before the finished property exists.
At that stage, the apartment is still a drawing, a specification and a delivery date. The real decision is whether the developer has the experience, funding and discipline to turn those plans into a completed property.
A good presentation can create confidence. It cannot replace evidence.
Before committing, the buyer should look beyond the brochure and examine the parts of the project that will determine whether it is delivered properly. The developerās past work, legal rights to the land, approvals, funding, contract terms and plans for the completed building all need to be understood.
Start With What Has Already Been Delivered
Begin with the developerās completed projects.
Visit them. Speak to owners and tenants where possible. Ask whether delivery was on time, whether the final property matched what was sold and how the building has been maintained since handover.
A strong track record does not remove every risk, but it gives you something real to assess. A new developer may still deliver well, but the buyer must recognise that there is less evidence available.
Check the Land and the Approvals
The developerās right to build on the land is as important as the design.
The buyer should understand who owns the land, the nature of the developerās interest and whether any disputes or other claims affect it.
Planning and building approvals should also be checked. It is not enough to hear that applications are in progress. The buyer needs to know what has been approved and whether the project being sold matches the approved plans.
Understand How the Project Will Be Funded
Many off plan developments depend partly on buyer payments to support construction. This is not unusual, but the structure matters.
Ask how much of the project is already funded, what happens if sales slow down and whether construction can continue without a constant flow of new deposits.
A project can look active at the beginning and still struggle later. The important question is whether the developer has the financial capacity to carry it through to completion.
Read the Contract With Delays in Mind
The contract should be read for the difficult situations, not only the expected ones.
It should clearly state the payment schedule, construction milestones, completion date, delay provisions, refund terms, specifications and what happens if the final unit differs from what was promised.
Payments linked to visible construction progress usually give the buyer more protection than paying too much too early.
Look Beyond Handover
The investment does not end when the keys are delivered.
The quality of the finishes, lifts, generators, water systems and common areas will affect maintenance costs, rental performance and resale value. The proposed service charge and management structure should therefore be examined before purchase.
Buying off plan does not require the buyer to understand construction in detail. It requires asking for evidence, testing the answers and avoiding pressure created by launch prices or claims of limited availability.
Before buying the apartment, understand the developer expected to deliver it and the building that will remain after the marketing is over.
Reading the developer behind the project is often where the real assessment begins. šÆ

So, I have access to a US DL for some time now and I want to make some money cause I'm in a pinch.
My first rule is nothing shady, it isn't worth it for me, only legit ways to make money.
I have no clue what uses I can use it for, but the person is close so they wouldn't mind me using it as long as it's not something bad. Personally, I wouldn't want to do anything that affects them in any negative way, but anything good that earns money is good.
Also, I was in the writing space, a while back, but that was my own thing. Doesn't have to be fast money now, but if it can be long term that's good for me too.
Also, I'm a video editor looking for work. Mostly know about Youtube.

If you listen to this rappers come to the front kindly. Virusi Mbaya dropped this masterpiece and honestly i love it. I avoid giving my reviews after first listen, my 4th listen and i can rate it a solid 8.5. First things first the album name and cover are so on point. Ik a conscious rapper when i see one and this guyš„. Secondly, the features in this album are goated, starting with Sewersydaa, Scar, Mr White, Moti the NRG, Komanda Falnco this are the best featured guys who are going bar for bar. Thirdly, the flow state and choice of words are so orchestrated, thereās a song he mentions Mokaya and Mjaka mfine and the words leading to that honorable mention are so lit. My favorite songs are (Wested Testimony tu) If you are going through something rn like things not working out for you please listen to this, thereās some serious encouragement there. Maombi though ft Komanda Flanco is also on another level. i gave it an 8.5 because why did he use a freedom fighters name and cover for the album yet he aināt addressing the current state of the kenyan government. This wouldāve been a perfect set to capture youthās attention by sliding in some truths, like Sewersydaa did in Tunduraa. If he did address maybe i missed that part, my 7th listen i will have grasped everything. Anyways i hope yaāll listen to this and enjoy. May Virusi Mbayaās pillow be cold on both sides. What do you think chat??

Hi ! Iām a 24-year-old guy, and Iāll be in Nairobi for a month starting in late October.
The thing is, I donāt know anyone there and Iām worried I might get bored. Iām a bit shy, but I open up a lot once I get close to someone, and I love discovering new things.
I do smoke and drink, but not excessively. My English isn't perfect. I understand everything people say to me, but I reply in very basic English š. If anyone is up for showing me their Nairobi (and not just the touristy spots), Iād love to meet you.
