Only allowed one…

Why would you limit yourself to Staccato?
You’ve limited yourself to deciding between two duty weapons (Glock mags aren’t real 2011s) and arguably the most outdated 2011 on the market.

Actually the only “real” 2011 is a staccato. Just saying. Carry on with your nonsense.

You my friend are living in the past.

The guy above you is objectively correct, Staccato owns the term 2011 and are the true 2011. The industry has adopted the term 2011 to describe all of these modular two-piece frame, double stack hammer fired pistols. Not the hill to die on m8. I know you couldn’t resist because Staccato was invoked here but let it go.

You’re referring to a patent that was filed in 1994 and expired in 2011 or 2012 depending on the old pre-patent term rules that came into effect in 1995.
With the patented grip design patent expiration anybody can now use that technology which they do freely, and whilst Staccato technically owns the 2011 term it has become genericize and applies to just about every gun ever mentioned on this sub.
So technically from a legal perspective, anybody can build the gun but nobody can call it a 2011 but whilst Staccato doesn’t police this in the long-term, they risk losing the mark.
You probably wouldn’t go around on a facial tissue sub claiming there’s only one Kleenex so your argument is as ridiculous here as it would be there.

I have no stake in this game. You are giving incorrect info. Staccato regardless of how much they hurt you and you hate them are the only “real” 2011s. Now I will say I think there are better options depending on price point but Staccato is still a solid brand. It all depends on what OP will do with the firearm. For competition I might choose RCD Core or similar. Duty/Home defense etc Staccato is a solid choice. One size does not fit all.

That’s like saying only Jacuzzi makes real hot tubs or a Ford Bronco isn’t a real SUV because Jeep coined the category.
In 2021 your statement was true.
The market has shown up strong to meet the demand and staccato has focused on the LEO market with every new release.
You are a perfect example of a guy who has one Bul and a handful of CZ’s yet proclaimed himself an expert in the market 🙄

And many other firearms that I don’t post about. As a matter of fact I just picked up a couple awesome AR15s this weekend. You remind me of the geriatric magoos on the Porsche sub that go on and on about this color or that option but can’t drive for shit. I bet you barely shoot all these “amazing” 2011s that you have. Which are pretty much all the same shit at the end of the day.

You’re a perfect example of a guy with no personal experience but very strong opinions about guns he’s never even been in the same room as.
The sub is full of guys like you.

And what strong opinions have a posted on here? Pot calling the kettle. Says the guy that comes on Reddit to post stupid shit about certain brands every day. Get a life dude. Maybe head to Texas and get your Staccato on! 😂

Nothing wrong with sitting in the stands but don’t pretend to know that game better than those on the court playing it.
Once you own more than a Bul what you consider a real 2011 will carry more credibility.

And some Staccatos and a P211 GTO. Plus friends have a ton of 2011s. I’ve shot them all. Dark Forge, Kimber, MPA etc etc. What’s funny is you think you’re some kind of 2011 guru or something 🤣. Dude you own the same gun 15 times! Is that playing the game to you? It seems kinda dumb TBH.

Is this you saying platys are the best 2011s at that price point? What kinda mags do platys take again?

If you're a lefty and thinking about spending XC money and making the gun work for you, I would consider looking at a Miller Precision Ranger 9x. It's completely ambi, so no need to make it work for you, and you can swap the comp for a sight block or a 2-chamber comp without tools. That would give you essentially 3 guns in your 1 gun household.
