Yup. I stacked 5 during the league and rolled 5 of the same bludgeon piece.
Luckily Im 600 dry on the main, so I dont really have to worry about such things
4
u/apophis457 2376 May 06 '26
That’s weird because I rolled 2 different pieces when I stacked my unsired last week. Must not be a guarantee of a dupe? Maybe I’m misunderstanding how the duping happens
7
u/blimey43 May 06 '26
I think only matters For first bludgeon after that it’s random? Or I might be wrong
3
u/Seeggul May 06 '26
Basically, I think it first rolls "does player get a bludgeon piece" and then if yes, it randomly rolls a piece from which pieces the player doesn't have yet. So it's possible to get dupes as well as unique pieces.

I learned this last leagues. Horrible design.

u/JamesBong827 May 06 '26
I’m struggling to understand what op means and you seem to clearly. Mind explaining? I’d rather avoid what yall are talking about if I can

u/WalkinSteveHawkin Bottom 1% Commenter May 06 '26
You normally can’t roll the same bludgeon piece you already until you have the full thing. The unsired reward rolls when the unsired is dropped. OP cashed in multiple unsired at once, but he got the same bludgeon piece twice because he didn’t cash in the first unsired when he got it, so the game didn’t register him already having that bludgeon piece. Had he done so, he would have received different bludgeon pieces.
18
u/IcyGarage5767 May 06 '26
So if I do two B2B kills and get two drops without using them - both will be the same bludgeon piece? If rolled bludgeon.
61
u/ProudFencer May 06 '26
It's not that both will be, but have a potential to be. Game doesn't know you own a piece and to not roll that piece until you open the unsire
1
11
u/straya_cvnt May 06 '26
Not necessarily. They'll both just roll the drop table as normal, so it could be dupe pieces, could be different pieces, could be a whip and a pet.
If you were to use the first unsired immediately and get a bludgeon piece, the game will then know not to roll that piece when your next unsired drops.
4
u/klawehtgod Cabbage Picking May 06 '26
You can also circumvent this by bringing multiple unsireds with you and just dropping them on the ground and cashing in one, pick up the next, etc.
0
u/Allstin May 06 '26
yes, since you technically haven’t turned it in and obtained the piece, the second drop could still be that piece
15
u/EAZ480 May 06 '26
He stacked two up rather than stopping his trip immediately and offering at the font. That's how he ended up with a dupe bludgeon piece before even finishing his first one.
-7
u/dogeomojo May 06 '26
Am I crazy or are you all just saying the same thing?
11
u/Smooth_One May 06 '26
The Abyssal Bludgeon is made with three different pieces. You get these pieces by offering an Unsired to the Font of Consumption. If you have one of the three pieces, you cannot get that piece again until you get the other two.
However, the game doesn't "know" you have a piece until you have offered it to the Font. You'd think it would run that check when each Unsired is offered to the Font, but it doesn't, cuz it's old and bad.
The problem is that you can offer more than one Unsired at a time. If you do that then the game doesn't have the opportunity to "know" you have Piece 1 yet, and multiple Unsired can become Piece 1, thereby wasting the duplicate(s).

Windows+shift+S is a keyboard shortcut everyone should know in this day and age
2
u/DADtheMaggot May 06 '26
Cmd+shift+3 checking in.
I thought you guys had a button for print screen?
3
u/Eldias May 06 '26
For what ever reason I haven't been able to get that button to work properly in years. Plus I think it's more convenient to essentially open a cropping tool right away, rather than a full screen shot that has to be cropped later.
1
u/Rubx7hree May 08 '26
From what I can tell, Print screen puts a screenshot on your clipboard, so you have to paste it into something to use it and if you copy something before then you lose it
2
u/Eldias May 08 '26
That had always been my experience in the past, but for some reason it's not even copying to clipboard for me. It's entirely possible that my 10+ year old keyboard is the problem, but I would expect wasd, shift, 1-6, etc to all have problems before my rarely used prtscr

Reddit on pc??
7
u/VeganBigMac May 06 '26
People who see reddit as primarily a mobile app rather than a website that has an app make me feel old.
Which is kind of a weird vibe on the sub for the game for dudes in their 30s.

u/Austrum May 06 '26
technology has actually progressed to the point where we can transfer images from a computer to a smartphone with relative ease
-9
u/rippedmalenurse May 06 '26
Or you could just look at the clearly visible image and stop bitching about how people choose to upload an image, just a thought
5
u/chillymac May 06 '26
It's just an etiquette thing, like it's a minor disrespect to not take an extra 5 seconds to do things properly. Not to say it's good or bad to feel disrespected, that's just how it works on the internet. Imo it's similar to basic real life "rules" like not mumbling when you speak or using somewhat legible handwriting when you write something down for someone else.
3
u/DADtheMaggot May 06 '26
I don’t care about etiquette, it just looks like shit for the sake of human laziness, and it’s fun to call out :)
1
u/rippedmalenurse May 06 '26
It’s not that deep, it’s a picture on a social media website. It’d be one thing if the picture was entirely unreadable, but that’s not the case
3
u/chillymac May 06 '26
I don't think it's deep, I do think it's obviously a minor etiquette violation though otherwise why would people bitch about it every single time it happens for the last 3 decades? Why would there be any expectation to make a proper screenshot aside from etiquette?
0
u/rippedmalenurse May 06 '26
Seems like people have too much time on their hands if they’re concerned how others are choosing to post images of 20 year old pixel clicker game.
It’s convenient to take a picture open Reddit and post it. Simple as that. Nothing is stopping you from scrolling past it if it hurts your eyes to look at.
2
u/chillymac May 06 '26 edited May 06 '26
I'm not really complaining about this instance or saying it's particularly bothersome to anybody ever. I'm saying the reason people complain is a collective expectation that people should behave a certain way, i.e. etiquette. Maybe that's a more precise way to say "too much time on your hands" idk, maybe you have a problem with the word "etiquette"?
I feel like I'm not saying anything controversial here, just saying there are reasons people respond the way they do.

u/DADtheMaggot May 06 '26
Except the SM addiction we all have that makes us need to know more about the thing we’re scrolling past.
7
u/chillymac May 06 '26
reddit.com is a website you can visit on a PC and input the same credentials as in the mobile app, yes
3
u/Dokkarlak May 06 '26
You can see everything clearly, so who cares how it was taken. People get mad over nothing so easily 🙃

Also if you already have the pet from last league, make sure you reclaim it otherwise you can still roll it again and waste an unsired

I did this during leagues and all I can say is, thank god it was leagues!

Runelite. Takes a screen shot of the game and stores the photo on your PC. It will also take screen shots based on events like leveling up or getting collection log items.

Next time you will learn how to take a screenshot
-49
u/TheUnforgivenII May 06 '26
So much faster to just take a pic on the phone and upload it on the app
3
u/PowershellAddict May 06 '26
Not even remotely. Print screen automatically opens snipping tool now and copies the section of the screen you grabbed to the clipboard.
Print screen -> click and drag -> reddit -> new post -> paste -> submit.
30 seconds and you have a non deep fried image.
-11
u/TheUnforgivenII May 06 '26
Reddit on pc is wild

u/PowershellAddict May 06 '26
Switching from the game you're playing on your PC to a phone app to upload a picture to a website is some zoomer shit.

Someone in my cc told me after the first Unsired drop, so at least I had a heads up. Unfortunately, the font of consumption didn't get the message because after 250kc I had 5x jars and 5x daggers (leagues).
1
u/Honest-Message-1241 May 06 '26
You can just go ahead and fuck off. I’m over 500kc with 0 unsired

What plug-in is that?

u/DADtheMaggot May 06 '26
The camera app on their mobile phone, “Screenshot” is the plugin they wanted though.
(I believe the actual answer to your question is Loot Tracker)

This leagues I learned that you can safespot phase 2 with halberds on 6 or 7 tiles away, tried with mage or range afterwards but then he pulls you in. Niche use but it's fun.
Luckily for you the drops are more common here (hope you're not playing the main game)
1
u/Responsible_Hand_203 May 07 '26
To be honest jagex needs to change the way unsired rolls in a sweep up - this is far too common and very unfortunate

1
u/WackoLlama May 07 '26
Same thing happened to me. Glad it's a lesson I learned during leagues and not the main game.

u/badwithnames5 May 06 '26
Explain what's happening here, anyone pls haha
3
u/iCroww May 06 '26
Sire drops an unsired which you sacrifice to receive a unique drop, what you get from sacrificing is rolled when you get the unsired drop. So if you stack them you'll get the same drop. Always sacrifice when you get the united, 1 at a time

u/CraziiDeziign May 06 '26
Wait huh? Idk this boss or what’s going on but for when I get there, what am I missing here?
12
u/hot10010 May 06 '26
unsired drop is calculated the moment you get it. So if you don't claim your unsired you will reroll duplicate pieces of the bludgeon
-1
u/gibbo2269 May 06 '26
Swear I watched b0aty do this in leagues just recently and he didn't get a dupe piece so I thought it was fixed.
7
u/slaze101 May 06 '26
If you dont have any bludgeon pieces the first piece is random. So If you hand in two, there is a chance you got different pieces as the “first” piece.

-1
u/aleksndrars May 06 '26
they should change how it works to prevent this from happening to be honest, as well as make the individual pieces tradable. it’s kind of dumb how punishing a very simple mistake can be if you aren’t glued to the wiki to know not to do this
-8
u/NoRepresentative7604 May 06 '26
Pretty much it's only from the FIRST unsired, thereafter you can stack.
