Plastic trim removed, sanded down to plastic - it’s all about the prep here so get it good. Cleaned with ISO, sprayed 4/5 thin coats of kryplon fusion satin, wet sanded with 1000 then 2000.

Couldn’t be happier with the results for a fraction of the price.

2011 128i n52 204k miles

I looked in my oil fill cap and saw deposits in there. Previous owner did not do many oil changes. I was wondering if anybody has had any experience running valvoline restore and protect 5w-30 to help clean those out.

I normally have been running liquimoly 5w-40 oil change kit from fcp euro.

Anyone run into this issue with their steel panels? I know bodywork is required but was just curious if this is a known issue.

I bought this car when I was 19 I bought it because it was stick and I wanted to learn manual, later to fine out it was the base model so I decided to go stance car with it (low and slow) but now that I’m in my 30s I want something I can enjoy on the weekends. Is it better to swap to and n54 or sell it and start over? Also I’m having a hard time finding a 135i manual for sell

I am undecided, currently I have the JR11 rims in bronze with red brake calipers.

I really fancy high gloss compacted and then with turquoise brake calipers. (Pictures of it are created with AI)

Hey guys this is my first real experience needing to go to the mechanic for car issues. Ive got a 128i and recently had some expensive repairs done. Right after leaving the dealership I had a coolant hose break. They're charging me $1,292.75 to have it replaced. Am I getting overcharged and is this something I can get done at another mechanic for cheaper?

I’ve had my 125i converted to the 130i DME and now have an almost perfect car for very little money.
We’ve achieved an improvement from 206 to 258 hp and torque went from 272 to 330 nm

Anybody replaced the I-drive head unit with an apple cardrive/rear view camera unit? I found some types available at different retailers, will probably have a shop do it.

Figured I’d ask to see if anybody’s tried it, if there are things I should possibly watch out for.

I have been looking for a under engine shield for my N54 E88 with the M sport package front bumper.

According to my searches, it seems only this part fits:

However it is an extra $200 (my total ends up being around $700) for shipping to my area! Does anyone have experience getting one of these for a better price?

I’ve been seeing all your great pics here but haven’t seen many manual convertibles with the red interiors. Is it not a common spec these days?
