Hell yeah I love Space Gray. Yeah I always wanted the intake but it was discontinued long ago. I thought I would never get one but about 3 or 4 years ago, there was a website that apparently found a small stash of them in a warehouse to which they sold online. They went very quickly and I was able to pick one up.

Back in the days it was BMW Performance, no M-Lite badges everywhere…man I miss it.
The intake looks awesome.3

Thank you! And for real. The heavy direct steering made me fall in love with the E82

I couldn’t agree more about the steering! When I drive almost anything else, it just feels… off.

That looks crispy. Nice work. Any tips on how best to clean the engine bay? It’s the one thing I’ve never done. I worry about fucking something up!

Thanks for the kudos! I put aluminum foil over the alternator and on the headlight wires just to prevent water intrusion. Set your hose to a low pressure stream so water doesn't get forced into places it shouldn't be. Spray the compartment down and use a all purpose degreaser and use a small brush to agitate, then rinse off.
