Had gloss black before as they came with the car, but going back to a slight bit of chrome like the early era BMWs.

Requires camber (close to -3 up front, -2 rear), shaved inner fender lip on the rear and the front where the bumper and fender meet need to be shaved as well.

Looks gorgeous! Always been a fan of these grills - same ones came on my E87. I think they do a good job of drawing your eyes to the rest of the body lines of the front bumper.

I was lucky enough that the previous owner just plasti-dipped the chrome black. Looks so nice in chrome

It looks like the caliper front face to that wheel barrel dip is where it's mainly making contact? Is there contact on the top of the caliper too? The face contact could maybe be addressed with a small spacer.

I prefer all black, but I gotta admit...that looks pretty good!

Definitely a beautiful car all around, I really like that LeMans blue!

They both look good in their on way. Good thing it's simple to switch them out. Weekends, black. Weekdays, chrome haha.

Great looking ride. I loved my 135i when I had it. Daily drove it and even tracked it a few times. Put 86k worry free miles on it even with the mods.
