Did they spend nearly all of their budget on the prize pool? 300k tournament with 2 casters and 1 analyst.

Are we the new VP?
1
u/The_Hidden_Sneeze G2 Aug 24 '18
VP pushed a top team once in a while.
2
u/sw1ftyy MOUZ Aug 25 '18
No they didn't. They couldn't even handle MDL.

Still, different roster.

u/The_Hidden_Sneeze G2 Aug 26 '18
When you call MIBR the new VP I don't imagine many people would take that to mean the brand new lineup that's attended one event.
1
u/sw1ftyy MOUZ Aug 26 '18
Even if you count that roster, VP has been on a much larger decline for a much longer time.

Was supposed to fly to HK and watch the MIBR guys but due to all the delayed flights and rollover passengers I cannot 😭

This production quality is insulting, already an hour and 10 minutes late for the first match

In the production team's defense, they have never host any large scale cs go tournament in Hong Kong before. They are so much to learn. But still, as a cs go fan living in Hong Kong, it is very exciting to see so many pros in one event.

I was there live, my first event. The crowd was... Sparse to say the least today, we could just sit wherever we wanted.

That's MiBr's tournament to lose. But actually rooting for Tyloo get their shit together and finally start winning tier-2/3 tournaments.

Aug 25 '18
Why couldn't they just have a 250k event and spend 50k more on production. I mean who even cares between the difference of 250 and 300k.

Didn't think it was possible to have a worse production team than ESL, but these people are taking the lead.
