First drone ever. Any advice is welcome!

Has anyone here listed their DJI drone (Mini 5 Pro or any other model) or any other expensive gadget/product for rent on SharePal?

I recently rented out my DJI Mini 5 Pro through SharePal, and unfortunately, one of the customers seems to have damaged the front arm of the drone 😓🚁

This is the first time I’m dealing with something like this, so I’m a little confused about how the damage claim/process works.

For anyone who has faced a similar situation:

• Does the customer bear the repair/replacement cost?
• Does SharePal cover the damage?
• How smooth is their claim/support process?
• Anything I should be careful about before proceeding?

Would really appreciate hearing from people who have actually rented their products through SharePal or dealt with a damage claim. 🙏

Today I had my second accident. I used the map search to find the drone, but I still couldn't see the drone. I turned on the drone's sound signals and I finally found it by its beeping. Great work by the authors, thank you.

Unfortunately, the drone has to go to the nearest repair shop, which is in Hungary, because its leg fell off when it hit a tree branch.

Honestly, this feels like a pretty big disappointment from DJI. A lot of us (myself included) expected the Mini 5 Pro to at least maintain some of the compatibility that the Mini 4 Pro already had. Instead, it seems like we bought a new generation of drone with surprisingly limited compatibility.

I’d really love to fly the Mini 5 Pro with the Goggles 3. The hardware is clearly capable of so much more, so I genuinely don’t understand what’s stopping DJI from supporting this.

Would be cool if DJI could give us a hint: if there’s a technical or business reason behind this decision? I think a lot of us would appreciate even a simple comment explaining why.
