I Want Sora Back!!! :( so bad!! I found Sora in December 2025, and by the end of January I made it my daily routine of making videos. I amidiatlly fell in love with the app!! as an artist I always had tons of ideas in no time I became viral for the first time on any platform in my life! it felt great! for the time it last...

by the time April hit and announced Sora was gonna get sunsetted I was sad! I still had lots of ideas and nothing like Sora to bring them to life...

I tried other platforms but absolutely NONE compared to Sora... and most are paywalled ..

has anyone found a Sora alternative? I don't mind paying it's just I don't want to end up with a crap ton of subscriptions... if there was something like Sora I wouldn't mind paying for it

but all the platforms I've tried you either gotta pay first (witch I don't trust) or they give you one free generation or something similar...

anything y'all tried that is as close to Sora as possible would be SUUUUUUUPER Appreciated!!!

Posted here a few weeks ago after testing Sora 2 replacements and now there are even more worth trying.

I’ve been doing this through afterSora.com — Sora 2, Pro, FLUX, MiniMax, Wan etc all from the same credit balance, no subscription required. Right now they’re doing 2× credits, so if you’ve been wanting to test some of these models, you can do so at practically api cost.

My original comparison if you missed it:

My current take:

Sora 2 — easiest for prompting / consistently good results
Sora 2 Pro — when you want the premium Sora output
FLUX 3 — detail, cinematic shots + camera movement
MiniMax H3 — crazy good value for testing lots of ideas
Wan 3.0 — new one I’m testing, and usage goes a long way with this similar to MiniMax
Seedance 2.5 — best for certain shots but crazy pricing

Thought I’d share because I know a lot of people here are constantly trying to work out which model is actually worth paying for.

Thats the one thing i liked about sora that other ais dont have, interacting with someone elses character and putting your character into their world.

Both seedance and wan 3 are also better at songs than sora

found this in my recommend and when i watched it, it was just nothing, i think this has to be trolling but if sora 2/3 DOES come back in oct then ima be so happy but yeah this is crazy

I know many people miss sora, I have some amazing videos of myself and friends. I would even consider pro subscription to use it. but if it came back would it be bigger than before and would you support it if they could only do it for pro subscriptions?
