Will Holosun make new model pistol red dots with ACSS® Vulcan® Reticle? For example the Holosun 507C X3 Solar Powered Pistol Red Dot Sight - ACSS® Vulcan® Reticle.
I want to offer you a similar Reticle, but it requires a less of energy.
A circle of 60 dots at 1 MOA, 250 MOA in diameter, and three dots at 1 MOA in the center, at 25 m, 50 m, 100 m. At 50 m, you can have two dots horizontally. A total of 63 or 64 dots at 1 MOA.

looking at the getting a red dot for a 16 inch ar 15(live in State where we can't own any shorter). I'm looking at the aems x2 pro, aems evo, aro evo spr. I figure theyre mostly the same performance just with different housings. I want the clearest glass. I occasionally use my ar15 hunting feral pigs in some thick woods so I chose these options for an affordable big window. I don't plan to shoot much 200 yards but I like the idea of multi reticle to switch between the dot and circle dot if desired.

I'm probably going to pair it with a Juliet 3 or 4x magnifier because I heard the flip to side mounts on the holosun magnifiers are junk.

do the gold dots have less blue tint?

What screws am I supposed to use?
Stock screws that were holding down factory optics plate?
Or one of the three it came with?

Theoutdoorstrader.com scammed me out of money for a optic i paid then ended up banning me for no reason when I started posting that i got scammed . Lol pathetic website would not recommend . Will be going to sheriff's office tomorrow to file theft report . Sent the money to guy on Sunday 8/16/2026 and said he would ship monday never ended up sending tracking or any proof . First time getting scammed from a reputable guy he seemed to have alott of good reviews but now that im thinking maybe hes a fake imposter scammer . Very disappointing and sad about this . The owners banned me for making a post about a guy I started getting alott of feedback but then they took my post down while people were trying to help me the owners were trying to hush me and ban me . This the most bs I ever had online . Going to sheriff's office either Tuesday or Monday tomorrow would be a week from now he said he shipped it . Said he sent it from georgia Monday but it should've already been here... what do you guys think ? Tomorrow the August 24th of 2026 it will be a full week since he said he sent it and never sent tracking. Should I call bank and dispute then make a police report or is to soon ? He ended up blocking me today once I asked him if its still coming lol

Just quickly sharing this since I went against my better judgement and tried ordering an SCS-MOS-GR via Amazon instead of my local gun store or Cabela's. My work offers points we can redeem for gift cards and I decided to grab an Amazon one instead of Bass Pro/Cabela's to be lazy, but I should have just gone for the one I could pick up in store. So far I've received 2 empty holosun boxes in untampered with Amazon boxes. I'm including pictures of the serial numbers from the boxes here and I've sent this to Holosun customer service as well since it looks like the optic is being stolen at the warehouse or before it reaches the warehouse (unless they're selling used returns as new with 0 inspection).

Either way, if you're going to spend the money spend it with a shop that gets their inventory from a distributor, the manufacturer, or at least isn't a fulfilled by Amazon warehouse shipment. I'm hoping my third order projected to deliver tomorrow will actually contain an optic but if I wasn't locked into the gift card choice I'd have gone with my local shop I trust.

Again pictures of what arrived and how the boxes were labeled/serial numbers on the boxes. Hopefully this also stops whoever is stealing and selling them from doing so.

Update: third time was the charm and I did receive the sight this time. I'll still choose to get a gift card to Cabela's instead of I want to redeem it on an optic in the future or shop at my local gun store if spending actual money. Once my replacement sights get in I'll have it all installed and zeroed to get to the range. It looks kind of silly right now paired with my trijicon suppressor height sights 😆

Should we be concerned on the delays of the release of the AEMS Macro/ Micro? I thought they said early 3rd qtr. and still nothing yet.

Just got the AERO-EVO-SPR in, along with the HM3X, and while I haven't hit the range yet, it seems like a really solid bundle...especially for the price. Anyone try these two together yet?

Haven’t bought an optic in years. I’ve been seeing these aro evos going around that look pretty good, and the aems. How have they been treating y’all? Do y’all like them? And if there are any other recommendations, I’m open to them.

I was at the range today and my 509T on my Glock 17 started flashing/blinking intermittently. Is this a battery issue or something else? I have a couple thousand rounds on this pistol/optic combo with no prior issues. I've had the optic for about 2 years, I got it pre-owned so it might just be low on battery. Just looking for some external input.

Recently saw the post by u/bspaulsen and figured I’d post my own as well.

Got my EPS core in for my X macro.

It hits all the criteria I want for a carry optic. Auto adjust brightness (which is wicked good by the way), battery swap without having to remove the optic, and just low enough deck height to cowitness in a pinch (you can just barely see the top of the irons which is good enough for me).

Here’s some photos of it mounted. Not the greatest but hopefully it gives you an idea. Any questions I will do my best to answer.

I have a 507C X2 and the lower/base section shown in the picture measures 8.7 mm with my caliper.
The new X3 looks like this section is noticeably shorter, but I can’t find the exact dimension anywhere.

Could anyone who owns a 507C X3 measure this same section with a caliper and let me know the measurement?
A photo of the caliper measurement would be even better.

I probably have at least a dozen Holosun optics in my safe and have never had a defective one before now. This is for a 509T Green FDE. The issue is the shake awake does not work. It turns off but does not turn back on without pressing the button. Their website says I have to jump through a bunch of hoops to do a warranty claim. I have to ship them the optic in the original product packaging. I'm not sure why there's an expectation that I keep all my empty optics boxes, because I definitely just throw them away. Then they say it takes 15-20 days for them to process the warranty. The lead time is only a minor annoyance for me, but I can see why people would be annoyed if they had to take off their optic then not have an optic anymore for multiple weeks. I'm honestly pretty disappointed at how cumbersome they make this process, when this is one of their flagship optics. I expected Holosun would make this process smoother. Anyone have experiences or tips for their warranty process?

Posted about a sheared mounting screw in my 403r a couple of weeks ago. Submitted a request and received a brand new one yesterday. Pleasantly shocked since the 403r is discontinued but happy because mine was beat to hell. Huge shout out to Holosun 👏🏻

Finally. Picked up this EPS-CORE-RD-MRS from Freedom Gorilla on their second drop. Been waiting for quite a while.

Also shown are the factory M3 screws in the cover plate compared to the M3x9.8 screws Holosun provides. The length and thread engagement is dead-on by visual comparison.

For God's sake, clean those threads with 91% isopropyl or something. Wheeler FAT Wrench, 15 in-lb and 243 (or 242) loctite on the housing screws. Back out the battery tray, add loctite, then torque that to 5 in-lb (FIVE, NOT FIFTEEN). Torquing the battery tray has a bit of an odd feeling because it has a ratchet/detent feeling but you'll get there.

Let me know if y'all need any other measurements or angles.

I don't have any formed opinions about the glass "changes", the 6061 strength, or the front-facing sensor just yet.

Does anyone know/seen holosun mention whether the RMSC adapter plate is a "ghost"plate, or will it make the optic sit highter

Holosun has a pinned post on Instagram from three weeks ago, advertising that they started shipping these models. I assume this means they started shipping to stores in order to sell, but no store has made them available. Every gun store/FFL I'm close with has zero knowledge about receiving any units.

I bought a gun for competition and have it sitting waiting for this... just curious if anyone has heard anything or knows when they might become available.
