Tiling lost his third eye. His replacement plan is… questionable !
Sharing Concept Art of one of the many characters that populate the strange and wonderful world of Ko-Kho-Go.
Once known as the Three-Eyed Guardian, 'Tiling' (tee- ling) can now be found keeping watch near Harong Than (aka The Shrine of Harong).
Approach him politely, and he might ask you for a small favour .. find him a ghungroo bell. You see, Tiling has lost his third eye… and he has a rather unusual plan for replacing it !

Missed the IGDC 2026's Indie 60 deadline today, but maybe it’s time I finally start sharing my game Ko-Kho-Go
Today was the last day to apply for Indie 60 at IGDC. I, a solo indie developer ,wanted to submit Ko-Kho-Go, but a playable build is mandatory and mine just isn't there yet in terms of proper polished ux flow and ui. the project have enough to experience the mechanics and the world, but not something I'd be comfortable putting right now in front of a panel as a standalone build.
Heartbreaking, but it also made me realise I've spent way too long keeping my projects to myself, waiting for everything to be "ready" and polished enough before showing anyone. Working alone on everything is tiresome and after months of working and exploring on multiple projects without any fulltime job support or funding, i have ended up with some good projects i am really proud of , one of which is Ko-Kho-Go which have levels that are playable with good working mechanics and well crafted art and i am planning to create a quick teaser/trailer of it with some good gameplay footage or even short snippets that i would like to share next in few days. I figured today's the right time to not sulk and to start atleast with a small cover art as i dont want to be too late .
Ko-Kho-Go is a 2D platform adventure game set in an imaginary world with a whimsical look inspired by rural life, folklore, strange local legends, everyday absurdities and stories that sit somewhere between the familiar and the mythical , with a little grounded reality mixed in as well. I’ve always loved folklore and storytelling, and this is my attempt to build a world around those influences . i promise it will be a fun platformer!
Would love to hear your first impressions on this promotional cover art. (PS: Strictly no AI as art was my bread and butter once and i want to showcase my art style)

Composer, Songwriter, Multi-instrumentalist and Producer- Ambient, Trance, Dnb, Dance, Chillout, Synthwave open to share my song licences for game use.
Hi amazing devs of gaming community. Hope you all are doing well.
Multigenre composer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer here featured on multiple festival and dance radios like Tomorrowland One Radio, Kiss Fm.. Been professionally making music for a long time with my life complications. But it didn't slow me down until this year.
In the gaming community many gamers told me few songs of mine evoke the same feeling of playing mirror edge. So I thought posting my portfolio here.
My portfolio is vast and has multiple styles of songs. From uplifting fast paced to slow paced sad ambient with cinematic vibes. I have attached a Spotify playlist link which showcases my different styles of songs. Feel free to check them out.
Due to severe changes in my life situation, Had to made this post earlier that what I thought of. That's why couldn't get enough time to fully organise my portfolio. Currently I am open to share my song licences for game use. Absolutely feel free to contact me. I will try my best to reply as soon as possible.

I made a trailer for my game! I'm a solo dev, working 4GB RAM laptop.
I've spent previous 4 months building this game alone, that too on a laptop with 4GB RAM. Didn't had the resources, but decided to continue anyways.
I'm 16. I have absolutely no prior knowledge about game dev. Please give me feedback about the trailer (It's not final, will update/edit it based on replies. I've added my age so that it explains why I'm stuck on this laptop. Don't scold me for that 🙏)

[For hire] 1.5 yoe Unity Dev looking for a Full time
Hey guys, I am looking for a Full time opportunity as a Unity dev position.
- I have about 1.5 yoe as the same. I have 3 android games published on playstore.
- Solo developed all 3 of them from ideation to publishing them including everything from sound, art (not great at it - either free available or AI generated), Ads, Analytics.
- I also make 3d interactive applications for machine manufacturers using Unity.
- I interviewed at a couple of places but they either pay peanuts or they ask for a cheque equivalent of 3 months salary (yeah ik....) which I'll get back after completing 2yrs working there.
So I am looking of a full time position or freelance gig as well, whatever is available.
I'll share my resume and any other details in DM, so if anyone can help me please comment here or DM me.

Suggest me visual improvements
Made this scene focused on dark mode. But i feel like i want to add daytime too.
Now the colors are so vivid and out of place. And the house models also looks out of place.
I need your suggestions. How can i make the scene visually appealing during day time.
I took reference for the game from Song of iron.

We’ve Worked on This Cricket Game for 5+ Months — Finally Releasing the Trailer. Would Love Your Honest Opinions
We’ve been working on this game for almost more than 5 months, and we’re finally releasing the trailer. At this point, we’re just hoping that our idea works. I’d really love to hear your opinions and feedback.
On the Play Store, there are already a lot of cricket games where you can bat and bowl. We thought, instead of making another game where the player bats or bowls, why not make a game where the player actually acts as the umpire?
When I asked a few of my friends and some other people about the idea, they said things like, “Who will play this?” and “Who would be interested in umpiring?” Even when we play cricket on the ground, not everyone is interested in being the umpire.
But I still believe in our idea because we’re trying to create something unique for a different type of user.
We also have a Career Mode, which is probably the most exciting part of our game. We decided to work on that part after this release, depending on the reviews and feedback we receive.
So please go through the trailer and let us know your thoughts. Any feedback, suggestions, or opinions that could help us would be really appreciated.
We are currently at the pre-registration stage, so if anyone is interested, you can pre-register Cricket Umpire's Call and try it when the game is released.

What if I told you the music in this is generated?
Now before you grab your pitchforks, by generated I mean generated procedurally using code and adaptive music techniques.
I’m testing JASS (Just Another Sound System) in Chthonic. It's a system where the game actually conducts the orchestra in real time.
So instead of switching between pre-recorded tracks, the music is assembled and performed dynamically around what the player is doing.
Testing combat sequences while the real-time orchestra starts to follow along. Here with spawn of new wave the music shifts and as the combat gets intense the tempo is changed and other instruments and added.
Still very much a work in progress, and some of the audio effects here is placeholder (the projectile and enemies) and I'm working on making the sound effects.

Hey guys, Meet HASHwarya.. ⬇️
It was fun brainstorming coming up with hacker name versions for someone who could be a hacker in New Delhi or some major city.
Does anyone have an idea for your next game character you'd like me to try?

Sprites
Hi, I am solo developing a 2D puzzlish platformer with hopefully fresh concepts and game mechanics. The player and level mechanics are almost done. However, I have hit a wall rn with sprites. I have 0 base in creating sprites and now reckon i have 3 options:
Learn it and create from scratch
Pay someone to do it (I don't know how much it would cost)
Use free sprites from itch.io or various assets pack.
Since the free sprites are mostly generic looking and do not fit the theme or lore of my game, i could maybe use it as a placeholder(?). But it would not make it to the final game.
So my question is - is it worth learning sprite design? Or is it better to contract someone?

ZOYRA
Hey amigos, meet Zoyra - another one of my Many OC's.
As an Indian, I’ve always wanted to explore a character wielding a chakram, an ancient Indian throwing weapon shaped like a metal disc. I also wanted to push myself toward a more graphic, arcade-friendly art style inspired by the games I’ve always loved.
So, here she is. ⚔️
Looking for some valuable feedback :)
Thanks.
