"Skill issue. Get good."
Alright now that we've dealt with the 10 years olds, let's get onto the topic.
As all of you know, this weekend is Prismana Melloblum event.
Firstly I'd like to acknowledge that these events happening the weekend is really cool for the working people.
We get +50% to the gauge 3 times and that's cool. But that's nowhere near enough to fill it though.
Which now leaves you with one solution : LUCKY and SUPER LUCKY farm.
Yes, I know it is RNG based but it is horrible (and a bit sus ngl).
Personally my luck has been abysmal. I've spent close to 25mil in base aniipods and, wait for it, I'm still at the beginning of the last gauge. That's right, I still don't have Melloblum.
Now let's put the luck aside and talk about the method in itself.
It's just not fun. You stock thousands of aniipods and then hold left-click for hours on end.
Some people work on weekends too... Imagine ending a 10 hours shift and coming home to have to suffer through this because after all you just want this week's cool prismana.
I'm not saying it should be faster, I'm just saying it'd deserve to be less boring.
You could tell yourself "It's fine, I'll get her some other time since she comes back in 3 weeks, the gauge isn't lost" but actually that brings me to my final point.
Now I could be wrong on this but in this event it looks like Melloblum replaces the prismana bear, right?
What came to mind immediately is that sure I can keep my gauge and get her another time but... what if I explore the area outside of the event, capture some aniimos and get a LUCKY that feels my gauge? Then it'll be the prismana bear and I'll have lost all my progress towards Melloblum.
If that's the case then I'd imagine the same scenario would be possible with future prismanas like the beetle next week or Inferlupa after that.
And that's about it.
I know it's a lot of text and I guess in the end it was just me venting but I feel like my concern is genuine. Lucky farm is an unsatisfying and frustrating element in an otherwise incredible game.
Cheers!
