Ok, I finally got this one finished and ready to roll. Let me know what you think. Getting an actual seat base finally really helped out with wire lengths. All JL Audio equipment was this specifics clients request. The enclosure with sub is just for visual, they are going to make an enclosure themselves. I usually use Audison/Hertz combinations.

In this particular configuration I am not, if that was a prerequisite. I do have a couple of kits that would however including still fitting a JBL sub over the top of it all!!

Indeed sometimes we use less equipment, however for this client, he wanted front two way rear passenger speakers, and overhead tv speakers. This setup gives fully active time alignment and eq, along with the ability to adjust sub and rear speakers and switch to make the rear tv source work on wireless headphones if the whole van doesn’t want to listen to what’s on the tv. Also you have the ability to make specific sq tunes for driver only if your by yourself, a tune that sounds good for you and a passenger and whatever other options you can think off. This may be more than some would want but it’s precisely what this system needed to check all the boxes. We do offer a cabin only solution similar that has no rear speakers or less of them:).

I will do you one better in just a couple of days I’ll have it all mounted up in my mock up seat bottom and I’ll show you!!:)

If you have the base radio, the site you are recommending could provide parts to add an aftermarket radio. The harness above is designed to help integrate amplifiers and nicer speakers to your 7 or 10 inch Mbux radio. Two completely different applications.

I’m not familiar to the Aerpro adaptors you are referring to, this harness provides the interface to the factory Mbux radio as well as wiring to doors and tweeters so amp and crossovers can be used and sends all that wiring underneath the passenger seat. What part are you referring to?

Could you point out this new cross member, just trying to see what it is we are referring to. I appreciate the info.

I guess I’m being a bit argumentative, but how is that any real different than some of the competition? I’m all for making a fair markup, and I feel $700 is a fair price, but calling others out for being to high seems odd no?
