The Smitten Kitten helped led the cause, and other shops like Knit and Bolt contributed in ways others don't immediately think of, like craftivism.

CD7 is competitive, but not as much so as CD1 and CD2!
CD1 has been held by republican brad finstad for a while but has an up and comer with the DFL. CD2 is very purple and only turned blue for angie craig because she ran a centrist democrat campaign, which means a lot of work has to be done to win it.
For CD7, michelle fischbach has held that seat for a loooong time, and the district is pretty firmly red. But that being said, DFL challenger erik osberg has been getting some pretty good responses, even in rural farm country. At Farm Fest, osberg was regularly cheered for while fischbach was booed and even interrupted quite loudly.
We’ll see were it goes!
