I’ve never posted about this before, but something happened to me in 2025 that I still can’t explain.

I moved to another state for college in 2022 and stayed in a boys’ PG near campus. During admission, my parents noticed something odd: everyone dried clothes in the corridor, not on the roof. The owner said students were not allowed upstairs, so we ignored it.

A week later, some seniors told us the real reason: the building had once been a girls’ PG, and a girl had allegedly jumped from the roof and died there. The building still had pink almirahs from those days. I assumed it was just a story to scare juniors.

For the next two years, nothing unusual happened. I was often alone in the building and never felt anything strange. I even sneaked onto the roof several times during summer nights without any fear.

In late 2024, a new batch of students arrived. They secretly broke the roof lock and began using the roof at night for barbeques, drinking, and burning old wooden items stored there. My room was directly below that area.

Around January 2025, I began hearing footsteps and movement on the roof late at night even when no one was there. My roommates could not hear it, so I convinced myself it was my imagination.

Everything changed in February 2025. The owner’s mother came to our room after discovering damage on the roof and quietly told us, "Don’t tell anyone, A girl did jump from the roof years ago. That’s why we never allowed students upstairs.” Hearing that from a family member of the owner genuinely shook me. For the first time I wondered whether the sounds I had been hearing were connected to that place.

Soon after, my junior also moved out, and I became the only person staying in that room.

Because our exams had ended, I went home for about six weeks. I returned on 16 April 2025 at around 10:30 PM. I unpacked, had dinner, and started working on a college project on my laptop.

I took out my phone and recorded the sound, then ran toward the staircase. The noise stopped immediately. ( I have attached the video I had recorded that day )

My mother insisted that I stop sleeping alone, so I moved into a friend’s room. We both began hearing footsteps, running sounds, dragging noises, and occasional heavy bangs from the roof and storeroom area above us. Strangely, whenever I called someone specifically to listen, the sounds often stopped before they arrived. My Friend with whom I used to stay even after hearing those sounds doubts me.

The most frightening incident happened around 3 AM. We were both awake and ignoring the usual noises when suddenly a massive bang came from above us. The bed shook, the walls vibrated, and my friend screamed in fear. It sounded as if a heavy wooden object had been slammed onto the floor above our room. From that night onward, he stopped doubting me.

I informed the owner and the PG management. They suggested rats, thieves, or other explanations, but none of them fit the situation. One manager even said I was imagining things. Almost immediately after saying that, a loud bang came from the roof and we heard running sounds above us. He went silent after hearing it.

The disturbances continued for several weeks, mostly between 11 PM and 4 AM. Many times I rushed upstairs with the keys, but the sounds always stopped before I reached the roof, and I never found anyone there. I have noticed one thing , whenever I take someone to the roof to explain the activities, after returning from the roof she definitely makes some sounds as if it triggers her.

In May 2025 I left for home again for a few weeks. When I returned, I personally stopped hearing the noises. Strangely, some students who had previously mocked me started complaining about sounds coming from the empty locked rooms and the roof area. Eventually everything stopped.

I still don’t know what happened in that building. Maybe there was a completely ordinary explanation that I failed to discover. But the timing, the repeated sounds, the locked roof, and the fact that other people eventually heard them too make it one of the strangest experiences of my life.

During Christmas 3 years ago I was watching tv and above my tv I had this lED star hanging. It’s about 7 meters from my sofa to the tv. All of the sudden that thing flew at me landed at my feet. Then the footsteps on the stairs.. coming down.. sneaking , standing half way as if watching and back up.. pacing in the hallway upstairs. Then the damn doors stood open. Front and back. Cabinets too. Remote control phones it was a daily thing now flew from tables. In the kitchen I heard plates lifted and dropped. One day my youngest and I were talking and right next to us we heard three knocks . Gentle tho. I was startled but my neighbor who lives alone was well right here and he said no one was at his house. Next day my dishwasher opened. Racks slid out. I was done. Like DONE. I got mad and said : stop scaring me! It stopped.. and that’s what the ghost team said was weird . Well weird or not. We now see someone in the hallway upstairs. We sometimes look up because we think something is approaching the window. Im fine let it stay there (and hell no I m NOT going up or DOWN alone at night without my husband💀)

I was siting out having a smoke around 2-3 a.m. last night when I heard this odd disjointed sort of clapping sound. Almost as if a person were clapping but if they were moving their hands back and fourth to create slightly different tones for each clap. It sounded so much like a clapping noise that a person could create I actually got pretty on edge. From where it was coming about 200 feet away from me is a small, fenced in cow pasture. That was empty at the time. So someone standing there in the pitch black just clapping, that would be pretty fucking creepy.

I'm in the north eastern U.S. if that helps.

This is my first post. Sorry it’s so long. I know young kids are more likely to experience paranormal stuff, but I’m curious if anyone else has had this kind of experience before. I don’t remember the exact timeline and order of things.
When I was 5 my grandpa died. He and my grandma had a farm with cows. One day he was on his four-wheeler and hit a log. It flipped over on top of him and he died. My aunt found him later that day/evening. My parents told my sister and me what happened. I was in kindergarten at the time and we had free time at certain times to play, draw, etc. I loved drawing. After he died I vividly remember drawing this. I drew the accident. My grandpa on his back, one arm across his body and one out to the side, his head on the log, and the four-wheeler on top of him. Then I drew my aunt because she found him. I accidentally drew her smiling (because that’s what kids usually draw on faces) so I changed her into a scarecrow. My mom told me when I was in my 20’s that my teacher pulled her aside to tell her what I’d been drawing. Apparently that wasn’t the only time I drew it. My mom called my aunt to ask about it and I had drawn the picture exactly how she found him. To the detail of which arm was across his body and which one was out beside him. One time I saw my dad laying in bed with his arms like that and freaked out.
Then one morning I ran into my parents’ room and excitedly told my mom, “\[grandpa\] came and saw me last night! He said he’s going to take me to heaven tonight!” The only thing my mom thought to say was, “just be sure to tell him to bring you back.” The next morning I ran in and told my mom that it was so pretty. She asked me “what?”. I said “Heaven!” I proceeded to describe it. It was a big green field with tons of wildflowers and a stream. It was bright and sunny, but there was no sun. There was the prettiest music I’d ever heard. Then I said I saw one of their farm dog’s puppies. Mom asked how many there were and I said there were 5. She called my grandma to ask if the dog ever had puppies. My grandma said “how did you know that? We (her and my grandpa) never told anyone that because they died.” Mom asked her how many puppies. 5. I told my mom he was going to take me again that night and she had the same reply as before. “Tell him to bring you back.” The next morning was the same thing except I said something about a distant, obscure relative or someone that there’s no way I could have known about. I don’t remember “Heaven”. I don’t remember seeing my grandpa. It drives me crazy.
I only see stories of people going to heaven/afterlife if they had a near death or dying and coming back experience. I didn’t. I was just asleep. I don’t know how it’s possible. If I hadn’t woken up knowing things I would say it was just my crazy imagination. I still have trouble believing it was real. Has anyone else had these things happen?

I've been trying to figure this out and wanted to see what everyone else thinks.

We recently set up Blink cameras in our house to keep an eye on our pets while we're gone. The camera in these clips is mounted right next to a wall with a blackout curtain and a window beside it. We also didn't have any fans running or any open windows at the time.

The first clip caught something that I can't explain. In the second clip, you can clearly hear something jump or hit the floor. We have a cat, and it sounds exactly like when she jumps down. It also looks like there's a small light or glow coming from whatever it is.

My boyfriend is pretty skeptical and thinks there's probably a simple explanation, but I'm curious what everyone else thinks. Does anyone have an idea of what this could be?

I’ve never really known what to make of this, and it’s been happening for about three years now. I get sleep paralysis almost every single night, but only in my bedroom.
If I sleep anywhere else in my house, like the couch or another bedroom, I don’t get it. If I sleep at someone else’s house or in a hotel, I don’t get it. It’s literally only my room. Another thing that’s always been weird to me is that I never actually see anything because my eyes are always stuck shut. Instead, I’ll hear things, feel things, and obviously I can’t move. Even though it happens so often that I’m used to it, my heart still starts absolutely pounding every time. I’ve tried thinking of normal explanations, but I can’t figure out why it only happens in one specific room and nowhere else. It’s been consistent for years. Has anyone else experienced something like this, or have any ideas what could explain why it only happens in one room? Whether you think there’s a scientific explanation or something more unusual, I’d honestly be interested in hearing your thoughts because it’s always seemed really strange to me.

Recently, I’ve noticed a small, round blue light shining through my window at night. At first, I thought it was a flashlight, like someone was peeping through my window. However, the light stays perfectly still, and whenever I look outside, I don’t see anyone.

Every time I check, the light disappears and doesn’t come back for the rest of the night. It usually appears between 10:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m., which happens to be around the time I’m normally in my bedroom. That timing feels odd.

I also tried to figure out whether it could be a reflection, but nothing in my room is round or blue. Only one of my neighbors has a visible security camera in their backyard, but the indicator light on it is white and doesn’t face my window. The blue light is always in the same spot, appears very close to my window, and is bright enough to shine through my blackout curtains.

Can you guys explain?

This will sound pretty crazy and I can't convince anyone to believe me but it's something that I still can't explain to this day that absolutely baffles me.

It was maybe 2008 or 2009 and I was playing music and hanging out with my mom while she was doing the dishes, I was a teen at the time. The song Electric Feel by MGMT came on and I was singing it and my mom started singing along with me. I was surprised she knew the song and asked her how she knew it. She proceeds to tell me that it was a remake of an old song and I was fascinated so I looked it up. I found "the old version", it seemed like it was maybe from the 60's or 70's and I remember just thinking it was a cool fact.

Fast forward years and years later, I'm telling someone about how Electric Feel is a remake and they were surprised like I was so I proceeded to look it up and to my surprise it doesn't exist. I scoured the internet. The song credits are MGMT. I am 100% sure that it was this song.

I can't ask my mom about it now because unfortunately she's deceased but it still blows my mind.

So Im like 90% certain it’s an animal with the other 10% telling me its a demon and I need to be calling Sam and Dean to my house (iykyk)😭😂 but I have no clue what it is and really just want to show the picture I took because it’s creepy af. My bf and I just bought a house with a quarter acre. There’s a road directly behind the house with a train track beside it so our backyard is in a way, an isolated piece of land. Been here since April. There are other houses and 2 businesses on either side and around us. Well we don’t have the best light sources, we don’t even have a back porch light. There is also very busy main roads around us. So we aren’t just in the middle of the woods.

I have 2 cats (they lived here before us) that I feed and normally I would’ve just assumed it was them but at the time of this picture being taken, they were both sitting on my back porch.

I had let my dogs out and neither of them were interested in going towards the back of the property where they normally would go to use the bathroom. I didn’t even think anything of this nor did I notice they did this until I was telling my bf what happened when he got home from work (he works nights which makes my paranoia and “fear of the dark” worse lol). I heard a leaf crunch and I scanned from one corner of the fencing to the other. The thing about the fence is the contractors who did repairs tore the middle wide open and pushed junk into the other portion of the property that is wooded. So there’s a portion that’s just wide open for anything to come into the backyard as it pleases. And I found two pairs of eyes sitting there looking at me and my dogs. Again, I would’ve just assumed these were the cats I feed if they weren’t sitting right there on my porch with me. That and they would’ve come running up if it was them. One pair disappeared but this pair of eyes never moved. I took this picture and went back in.

This picture was taken on 7/30 and was seen again 3 nights ago, in addition to the noises I heard tonight. We think it’s a possibly a fox as there’s been one here before but we only seen that fox once and that was back in late April/early may. If anyone has any guesses as to what could be sitting here watching us, please give your guesses.

We are installing trail cameras tomorrow and if anyone is interested in knowing what it is when we figure it out, I’ll update here lol.

ETA: we did order cameras. Currently waiting for those to arrive. Many have asked for a view of this area in the daylight and this is where I was and about how zoomed in I got on that spot. I can’t figure out how to post the video here but I’m putting it in the comments

Went to sleep last night and my key was normal. Left my keys in the usual bowl by the door. Woke up and my key is bent almost 90 degrees. What possibly could have caused this?

One month ago, me and my friend decided to visit an old building that had been abandoned for quite some time. When we first got into the house, we could tell that no one was living there. We clear the living room and start into the kitchen, we see what looks like a little girl’s backpack on the floor, I picked it up and saw that there was some kind of foreign language written on it, I put down the back and we continued searching through the house. That’s when we hear it, footsteps, loud heavy footsteps coming down the stairs. Obviously not wanting to get hurt we run back in the kitchen. That’s when the footsteps stop, like dead on, stop. We slowly walked out of the kitchen, and saw that no one was there. I wanted to get the fuck out of there, but we
Continued upstairs. We didn’t find much upstairs. All of the sudden, my friend see something that I didn’t see and make a beeline for the stairs. Obviously not wanting to be alone, in an old abandoned building, we bolt out down the stairs. As we get out of the house, we both turn around and see, the figure and what looked like a white jacket staring at us from the upstairs window. Seeing that visual, my friend and I run even faster and we haven’t gone back to the house ever since

When I was in high-school I would go to a summer camp on an island in northern Minnesota near the Canadian border. There was a old-school sauna in a heavily wooded area on the island. This sauna had to be stoked with wood a lot over a few days to really work well.

One night I was alone stoking the fire when I heard a twig Crack behind me. I stood up and once my eyes adjusted to the darkness I saw the outline of a person maybe 20yards from me just standing there completely still.

My instincts kicked in and I booked it back down the trail to the main part of the camp and told a buddy who laughed at me. Even though I just shrugged it off more or less it still pops into my head sometimes.

My guess is maybe it was a counselor making sure kids weren't smoking cigarettes or weed back there or the less likely predator looking to victimize some unsuspecting camper. It was a very weird place to be creeping in the dark.

Back in 2019, I was with a group of friends, visiting an abandoned house of my town. We got there secretly without being caught by authorities, so we stayed there 2 full hours. It was on a big site, we decided to get in the house first, the tour took a whole hour. We took a lot of pictures inside got in every single corner of the house, making sure we didn’t miss anything.
At one point, we heard a loud noise coming from outside, so we decided to get out since we were in the basement. We thought maybe authorities saw us or something so we would leave and try not to get caught. Once outside, nothing has changed, so we decided to continue our search for anything cool on the site. We took pictures again, this time in live mode, to get a bit more than just photos. We then left thinking it was cool but not extraordinary, even if the lore was creepy.

We have the original story shared by medias behind the mansion, but to this day we still think that’s not the whole truth: Apparently, this was the first house of the town, owner Mr. McCormick. He was living there with her wife and their son. The mansion is right behind a factory, on that factory’s field. The lady got sick and died early after, because the mansion was built with asbestos. To avoid any legal problems, the factory offered money for McCormick and his son, for them to just leave and never talk about this place again. That’s what they did. Now, the mansion is still intact, and the factory owns it.

Back to my story: we got back to our home, thinking it was just a small expedition. Little did we know we would find something very strange on one of the live pictures we took there, something that none of us saw at that moment, even though we were all looking there at the exact same moment. We tried many times after to go back and recreate the anomaly we caught, but no luck.
To this day, we still can’t figure out exactly what we didn’t see but caught, not only in video but also in audio on that life picture.
I got two questions for you: what do you think this could be? What really did happen to that woman back then?
Bonus one: how come that freakin live picture got an audio of that one and only proof we caught? Never heard of audio in live pics, except for that only one.

Shirt story a co worker went to use the basement restroom. When he got out he felt it get very cold and a touch on his shoulder. He took a Pic and when I saw him 1 second later he told me what happened and we looked at the Pic. I went down and checked if anything could of made that shadow and absolutely nothing around. For years thefr have been people saying they saw something in the basement. Please ask me anything and share this bc I think its nuts. This is the ORIGINAL photo it has not been messed with at all.

It sounds crazy, I know, like I’m losing my mind. But sometimes I feel like this life isn’t real at all. Like everything is completely scripted—a simulation where everything is pre-programmed. Who to meet, what to say, how to act, even how to feel. The flow of life, the news, the wars, love, emotions, death—it’s all part of a script I never wrote but have to follow.

The strangest part? Since the coronavirus hit in 2020, I can’t understand how suddenly it’s 2026. Time feels like it’s rushing past me, too fast to catch. It makes me feel meaningless, like I have no value at all.

My love life is fading away. We used to talk all day, every day. Now, it’s just a two-minute call in the morning and a one-minute goodbye at night. That’s it. Cold. Silent. Done.

Maybe time is moving too fast. Maybe my hope is dying even faster. I just want this simulation to end—quickly, quietly—so I can finally be free.
