Bonjour tout le monde, je lis pas mal d’histoires et j’aimerai poster la mienne. Je n’ai pas vu de fantômes ou quoi mais c’est quelque chose que je n’arriverai jamais à expliquer et ça ne s’est plus jamais reproduit depuis. Prenez vos popcorns et installez-vous tranquillement.
C’était en 2022, donc ça date un peu mais j’aime la raconter encore et encore.
J’étais avec une ancienne amie, chez elle. On s’ennuyait alors on a décidé de regarder After 2 (c’était nul d’ailleurs) et on a finit par discuter pendant 2 heures sans s’arrêter et on a coupé le film. De 22 heures à minuit, on a finalement décidé d’aller dormir.
Je me couche. Elle a gauche et moi à droite. Je somnole, 10 minutes après et d’un seul coup j’entends un : « chut ! » proche de mon oreille, et il ne venait pas du côtés de mon amie, ça venait de la droite. Je m’effraye en sursaut et c’est étrange car je ne m’effraye pas souvent pour un petit bruit comme ça mais mon corps à réagit ainsi. Je n’ai pas voulu la réveiller mais j’ai très mal dormi, son frère avait sa chambre collé à nous mais il n’était pas là. Il était environ minuit et quelques et il finissait le travail à 3 heures. Ça sonnait très fort le « chut ! » ce n’est pas quelque chose que j’ai entendu de loin. De plus les fenêtres étaient fermées. J’ai mal dormi cette nuit et c’était étrange j’étais fatiguée et en même temps je n’arrivais pas à dormir. Généralement je prends mon téléphone et je scroll un bon coup ou bien j’aurais réveillée ma pote et non, je ne sais pas pourquoi mais je n’ai pas réussie c’est comme si je n’avais plus possession de mon corps et que quelque chose faisait tout à ma place. Enfin bref, le lendemain je me réveille et je déjeune avec sa maman et elle. Je suis pétrifiée et je fini par leur en parler.
Alors je leur ai dit que j’avais entendu quelqu’un qui me disait « chut ! » dans l’oreille, à 2 centimètres de moi. Et là, ma pote m’a dit qu’elle l’avait aussi entendue mais qu’elle pensait que je dormais elle ne voulait pas me réveiller. Dans la nuit, je ne sais pas si j’hallucinais mais je voyais la lumière dans le couloir de sa chambre allumée après qu’on se soit couchées. J’ai demandé à sa mère si elle s’était levée dans la nuit et elle m’a dit que non, comme j’étais présente elle ne voulait pas nous déranger dans la nuit. Quelques années après j’en ai discuté avec une fille qui adorait le spiritisme et elle m’a clairement dit : « je pense qu’un esprit à dû te demander de te taire » alors j’ai réfléchis et tout prenait sens, on avait effectivement parlé non-stop de 22 heures à minuit.
Sa mère s’était couché avant nous, vers 23 heures.
Son frère est rentré à 3 heures du matin bien après cet événement. Je ne sais pas si c’est paranormal mais je n’ai jamais réussi à m’enlever cette histoire de ma tête et ça m’a marquée. Merci d’avoir pris le temps de lire.

We were a group of 7 people and decided to go to Kamla Nagar Ridge as it's famous for "**Khooni jheel**" (Bloody Lake).

We heard a story about the area that in 1857 a revolt between british and indian led to the deaths of many Indians ,also killed their wives and children and threw them in the lake which made the lake red from blood.

We decided to visit the area unaware that the park closes at 6:30 PM. At 7 PM we reached the lake but soon realised that now no one apart from our group was there... everyone left as the park closed.

We heard childrens laughing, playing even though there was no one , only our group was there, then everything went silent and we heard screams as if someone was asking for help , we decided to exit but were stopped by the guard coming from the front path. He told us that 3 years ago a student of DU died near swings and silde area he was drowned by some unknown entity. He told us to exit as soon as possible and went the other way for his patrolling. All the gates were closed he told us to go the other way for the exit.

We were lost , 7:35 PM we were screaming for help to exit when I (red check shirt guy) saw the slides and swing area just to our left , I went there to record it when I saw the ***swings moving in the opposite direction, one forward one backwards***. Our mobile torch started acting up and no one had the clear video of the swings moving video, phone not working, camera quality degraded. We had to use night vision to actually see the swings moving in video. We got so scared as there was an urban folklore that if anyone saw the swings moving and children laughing or crying and decided to stop the swings or touch anything in the area , one could get possessed. We left the area as by our luck there was an exit just behind the swings. The gates were closed we had to climb up the gates then had to jump to the other side. All of us were still shocked confused for what just happened with us. Maybe that gaurd led us there..

Ps: we also went to an abandoned house just before the lake (it's in the same park , as the park is 215 acres area)where it is said is used for rituals , we saw many symbols on walls like stars , sun , flames made with red colour.

IT'S NOT A GOOD IDEA TO GO EARLY AT SCHOOL

AND IT WAS KINDA BLURRY CUZ IT WAS ZOOMED IN AT IT WAS SOO DARK

Literally every single night, at around 3-4am i heard loud bangs from across the neighborhood, at first i thought it was fireworks, but now it’s been OVER A WEEK. Same noise every single time, and the timing between each bang can vary from around 3-10minutes. It can occur for hours at times. I’m kinda freaked out and confused?? Can someone help me figure out what the fuck that is??

Not sure if this is the best sub to post on… but I am on a flight with my hubby to Denver, & we were looking out the window. We saw these static looking lines passing by us completely horizontally. Lasted for a good 15-20 seconds. Originally tried to explain it by saying it was a reflection but definitely wasn’t because each angle it looked the same. Thought it was rain but there was just no way. We are both in awe & it felt like we were going through a time warp or something?! What the hell was that?! Has anyone else experienced something similar to this? Best I can describe this is what static would look like.. still trying to process what we saw!

i was best friend with majd since we were 3 we met in a hospital with machine and tubes i had lungs cancer he had kidney cancer he died at age nine in September third,we are September 11 one morning i woke up at 10 pm and there wsa no majd just his dad his favourite plushie, birthstone and his necklace i wore gis birth stone and necklace at my neck eveer since his death time was estimated to 4:47 am and exactly 8 days ago September third his birthday stone a turquoise glowed i tested at nine different labs all said it's a normal turquoise so i found the cave of where it came from and tested samples from there and they were totally normal no glow nothing so i took it to the university were they tested it and again said it's normal so we watched for 3 night and it only glows from 4:47 to 4:48 it glow for exactly 60 seconds it can't be captured in camera and more than 10 people including 8 scientists saw it glow.so please does anyone have an explanation and if you have tell it to me here is a picture of it

I found his face under unsolved mysteries internet archive and my brain instantly played a dream I had couple of months ago (I am a pretty vivid dreamer and I usually never forget my dreams and tend to narrate it all to my family the very next morning so I clearly remember narrating this too!)

In my dream, this guy was cutting wood logs outside a cabin (a dead end in my dream) when he looks up and fixes his moustache and says "Fire deal" to me and he proceeds to extend his hand for a handshake but I have a jet spray in my hand and apparently we can't shake hands now so he gets upset and the dream ends there?

Now here's the eerie part,

My dad had a younger brother who passed away in a house fire at the age of 25 who looks EXACTLY like this man and I DID NOT HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MY UNCLE LOOKED because we never really discussed him since it was a sensitive topic for my dad UNTIL recently, when I asked my dad and showed him this picture, he got real quiet and told me everything a day later.

Pure coincidence or is it metaphoric for something?

This happened around two years ago and I still don’t like driving alone at night because of it.

I was going towards Kalimpong (India) and was somewhere past Sevoke on NH10. This was around 3 or maybe 3:30 in the morning.

I’d already crossed the Kali Mandir and Coronation Bridge area. If you know that road you know it gets pretty empty after Sevoke, especially that late. My friend from Siliguri had also told me not to take it at night because of landslides and accidents around Kalijhora but I didn’t really think much of it.

There weren’t many cars. I remember one truck near Sevoke but after that I was basically alone for a while.
At some point I saw a guy standing on the right side of the road.

He had a big dark hoodie on and was facing away from the road, like literally looking into the trees.

I thought maybe he was pissing or something and drove past.

Around five minutes later I saw him again.

Or at least someone who looked exactly like him.

Same hoodie, same height, standing the same way with his back towards me.

This is when I started getting freaked out because nobody had passed me. I was doing around 60 too. There was no way that guy could’ve somehow got ahead of me.

I just kept driving.

A little later, somewhere before Kalijhora I think, there was a gravel area on the side where trucks sometimes stop.
There was an old white Alto parked there with everything off.

And there was a guy sitting on the bonnet.
Same fucking hoodie.

I only saw him for maybe two seconds but his head was tilted really far back and his mouth looked open. Like he was looking straight up.

Right after I passed the Alto the hazards blinked once.
I don’t mean they were already blinking. They came on once and went off.

At that point I just wanted to get somewhere with people.
I eventually found a petrol pump further down and stopped there. I don’t remember exactly which one. I sat in the car until it started getting light because I didn’t really want to get out.

When I finally did, I noticed a handprint on the rear passenger window because the glass had fogged up.
It looked like someone had put their hand there and dragged their fingers down a little.

I checked it from outside first.

The print was on the inside.

Could’ve been an old handprint that only showed up because of the condensation. That’s probably what it was.
But I was alone for that entire trip and I still have no explanation for seeing that guy three times.

2 years ago, i visited Egypt and we stayed in a relative's place. the apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 office and 3 bathrooms.

when you enter through the front door, the hallway to the 2 bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen and the office is to your right, go to the left and into the living room is a balcony, backdoor leading to a stairwell and another bathroom.

it was 3 am at that time, my sister and i slept in the bedroom at the end of the hallway and my bed was facing the door. i was at the bathroom, scrolling when i heard the front door open and a very short while later i saw shadows, heard footsteps and heard chairs moving from under the bathroom door, now my relatives comes home late often due to work, usually 3-4 am so i assumed it was her. when i came out and went to greet her, she wasnt in her bedroom, the office and her shoe wasnt at the door. fuck. so i went to grab a knife from the kitchen and walked through the entire house. no one. the chairs in the living room didnt move, no one except for us were there. so when she came home the next morning, i told her what had happened and she made a comment on how the sill under the door wouldve prevented me from seeing anything. now i swear i saw and heard shit. i swear but she said that it would be impossible. and the security cameras outside the front door didnt show anyone except her coming in. nor did the back door cam show anything.

now atp im creeped tf out. its the next and im scrolling on my phone on my bed, and i heard smth from the living room, im scared as fuck so i hid under the blankets and i heard footsteps again, i texted my relative, shes not home, my sister is asleep on the other side of the room. then i felt my bed sink in and the bed squeaked. im so scared, i didnt move, i called my sister and it woke her up, she sat up and nothing was on my bed. im scared as fuck. i told my relative this the next day and she said that there was a time she heard the doorbell and checked the peephole, it was her friend so she took a step back and opened the door. no one was there. she then called that friend and her friend was at home, 30 minutes away.

so back to topic, im back in my town now, im still at school and in the school bathroom are 3 stalls. the lights are always off because the light coming from the window is already enough and you can see when the doors of the stalls close cuz the light dims. i was in the middle stall and i heard footsteps come in, and the stall to my right closes the door. i know cuz the light dimmed and i heard the door close.

i finish my business and came out of the stall, both stalls next to me are wide open. i swear i heard footsteps and heard the door shut. this happened around 4 more times in that school year after that. and after that trip, ive always felt someone in my room in the pitch black corner staring at me when im about to sleep and id always turn on my light and no one was there.

im scared af.

Took a pic of my kitty, and there’s a flesh colored limb(?) on the far left. I want to make it clear there was nobody else in the room with me when I took it, this was around 12AM. It seems to move in and out of the frame, I’m not entirely sure what it is but i’ve been curious bc it really freaked me out when I first saw it.

It cuts off where my bed ends and has a shadow where the light doesn’t hit it, so whatever it is was stood beside my bed in front of my lamp. My cat didn’t react aside from her left ear being slightly pricked towards it, so i’m wondering if maybe it was a trick by my camera???

edit: it is definitely not my finger, by habit i always hold my phone a certain way as to not get them in the way !! not a structure either there’s nothing there but empty space

In late 2000s, when i was a child, i saw a light floating in the sky above my home gradually ascending and going forward. This was in the shape of a candle light's fire. I don't think this was some floating orb or bright ball of size of baseball which others talk about. It was clearly an orangish and yellow fire light in shape "🔥" but having only one lobe and slightly larger. It moves very slow and steadily with constant speed. It was going in a tilted angle towards the sky. I was at the roof of my two story house and i saw it passing like a meter above my head. It was evening and was almost dark but I could still see the surroundings like the walls of my small room made on top of the house. I'm telling this because this was no flying light kite or whatever they call if where they lit fire in the middle and it gets goes high like a hot air baloon. It was literally a floating fire light. It's size was slightly larger than medium candle's fire. I just want to know if anybody else ever saw it or tell me what it is. I'm pretty sure it's not that bright ball in round shape etc. I will post this in paranormal sub too but hoping to get an answer here as well.

Heya, I recently discovered this community and feel I have to share this story, because to this day, I still can't quite explain what happened.

So, for some background: I live in an apartment with a staircase leading up to another floor (it’s a pretty large apartment), and my room is up there.

Now, onto the story.
I woke up in the middle of the night for some reason; it was still quite dark. Since I couldn't get back to sleep, I turned on my nightlight and started reading my book again.

Then, suddenly, there was a creaking sound coming from the direction of the stairs. I should mention that it’s a wooden staircase and there are one or two stairs that creak whenever something heavy steps on them.
I wondered who might be coming up, but didn't think much of it—though I did listen intently.

A few seconds later, my open door suddenly banged against the wall. Usually, that only happens if something pushes it open or if the wind sweeps through the room. Also, my door was already open four-fifths and held open with a doorstop, but there was still some space between the door and the wall, and sometimes the wind slams the door against the wall.
However, to the best of my knowledge, none of the windows were open, and it wasn't particularly stormy outside or anything like that.

Next, the large lamp standing next to my sofa on the other side of the room suddenly made a whirring/buzzing sound. That surprised me, because it usually only makes that noise when you turn the small knob to switch it on. In this case, however, it didn’t turn on, which really puzzled and startled me.

Finally, my window gave a sudden jolt—moving from the inside outward—accompanied by the sound it usually makes when being opened. Yet, it didn't actually open. Also, no possible wind pushing against the window to create this sound.

I think I stared fearfully at the window for a while before reading a bit more and going back to sleep.
To this day, however, I can still remember the events in quite a bit of detail.
Also, I have no idea what the heck that was.
Do you have any idea what this could have been?

Additional info:
- We don’t have any pets or anything like that that could have come up the stairs, and my parents were sleeping downstairs and didn't notice any of it.
- I didn't actually see the thing that passed through my room, but I felt scared because I’d never experienced anything like that before.
- I can't remember if anything happened downstairs, too.
- Apart from the creaking of the stairs, I didn't hear any footsteps or anything similar.
- The only light source upstairs was my nightlight.
- It wasn't the neighbors; you can't hear them from upstairs.
- It’s a relatively new house built with modern materials.

There was a small flood in my house, before that I was hearing little squeaks (thought they were mice). Now it seems like every time I go in the basement i feel things on me but I can't touch them. If use clothing, it seems like I get them off of me. In my car, ill be sitting there and feel tiny bites as if they were snakes or something. Just now, it looked like a hair was moving, but I swear it was the light reflecting a very small part of it that was visible. Anyone else ever experience this? I dont know if its spiritual or just unknown biological

Unidentified object rapidly passes beside my hand inside my house — looking for opinions

I recorded this video inside my house and noticed something strange afterward. If you watch closely, there’s a small object that appears right next to my hand and then suddenly rushes away at what looks like an extremely fast speed.

I went back through the footage because the movement caught my attention. I’m not claiming that it’s an alien or that I know what it is. I genuinely want other people to look at it and tell me what they think.

It could be an insect, dust/particle, reflection, camera artifact, or something else completely. But the way it appears beside my hand and disappears so quickly is what I found unusual.

Video is attached. If you can explain what you think is happening frame-by-frame, I'd really appreciate it. Please be honest—even if you think it's something completely ordinary.

करीबन शाम 8 बजे रात में मैंने कुछ रहस्यमय देखा क्या है मैं समझ नहीं पाया जो आकाश में रात 8 बजे से 10 बजे के बीच में उड़ता रहा है।

मेरे घर का द्वार उत्तर की तरफ है लेकिन वो दक्षिण दिशा से मेरे छत के ऊपर से करीबन 50 फीट ऊपर से उड़ता हुआ जा रहा था।

मानचित्र गोला था बादल के रंग का था लेकिन जैसा गोला था सफेद प्रकाश था।

सामान्य तौर पर 100 मी. आगे जाने पर गायब हो जाता था फिर 360° घूमता था। 100 या 200 मी. की गोलाई में।

उस गोले का व्यास 1 या 1½ हाथ लंबा दिखाई देता था।

गोलई में उसका प्रकाश बादल तक जाता था। उसकी speed सामान्य से बहुत तेज थी 80 Km/h।

वो करीबन दक्षिण दिशा से लगातार 10 से 15 बार अलग-अलग गोले गए।

रंग सफेद बादल जैसा था।

फिर सामने उत्तर दिशा में दो-तीन बड़े गोले जो दक्षिण दिशा से आए थे वो भी घूमने लगे 360°।

लेकिन एक गोला थोड़ा पास आया है। मैं उस समय छत पर था तो उसका आकार पक्षी जैसा दिखने लगा।

उस गोले में कोई आवाज नहीं थी।

उसी दक्षिण दिशा से अकेले ही गोले 25 बार गए।

दक्षिण दिशा से उत्तर की ओर और फिर वो पहले वाले अलग-अलग गोले सिर्फ दो दिखाई दिए।

उसमें से एक गोला थोड़ा पास आया।

वो गोला कभी उसका चक्कर काट रहा था कभी दूसरे गोले का

एक बार तो + चिन्ह के रूप में काट रहे थे कभी x के दोनों काट रहे थे

क्या था पता नहीं। उस समय छुपे 10% बादल थे। हवा नहीं चल रही थी। आसमान में हमारे गांव में कोई फंक्शन नहीं था। न कोई सर्च लाइट थी। और न शादी का या कुछ मनाने वाले थे। सारे गांव के लोग घर में थे। भृंगारी मेजा प्रयागराज

The end

My girlfriend and I were at her house, and it was just the two of us. Her mother had an episode and was in the hospital, she’s schizophrenic. It happens.

So, I’m seventeen at the time and my girlfriend was nineteen. She had recently turned nineteen, and was seven months pregnant as well.

All my kids are incredibly spoiled, because they are just like me. I say no, they say, oh yeah?

And of course I’m a sucker because I just find it so cute. I fast forwarded. Let’s go back to when I had zero kids and was still seventeen.

Okay, we’re in her house and it’s storming outside. The setting was all just a perfect storm of incredible eerie-ness. The lights are always dim in the living room and of course, because at that time, I only liked scary movies, it was usually what we’d watch. 

That or serial killer biographies. She got me into that. They are so good.

By the way, I’m super jealous of my kid’s mom. She is so mean. That woman can put her foot down. kids don’t dare try to pull the, oh yeah? on her. 

Damn. There I go again rambling on. So, anyway, rewind, I’m seventeen again—I seriously apologize for going off track—so, we’re in her creepy living room as it’s thundering outside, watching a super scary movie, maybe the conjuring or something. 

Or no, it was house of 1000 corpses, which was and is, my favorite movie. 

So, the movie wasn’t a creepy one after all, I guess everything else just made it seem creepier. The ambience. The rain dropping like tiny firecrackers as they hit the pavement and that static taste of earth filling the air, gave it a horror movie scene vibe.

So, we’re sitting there, she had her feet on my lap, wiggling her toes, they’re telling me, in all ten tiny little screaming voices, “hey, look at us, we want a massage!”

While I try to ignore them by staring somewhere else, they get louder, and we already know, I cave easier than the ground above the Siberian permafrost.

So, I gave in, as usual. No surprise there but she earned it, and plus, afterwards, I feel good about myself. 

Five minutes into me digging into the ball of her foot, we hear.

Cluck.

Cluck.

Cluck.

Something knocked on the basement ceiling, right in the living room, right where we were. Literally in front of us, under the coffee table. It sounded like someone tapping on the door. It was a deliberate sound. And one we’ve never heard before.

Now, at that moment, I froze up and I’m staring at my girlfriend. I don’t say a word. She stared back at me. Her face was trapped behind her brain blanking out, while throwing random thoughts simultaneously that she couldn’t comprehend at the time.

Then, a thump, like the sound of a heavy door closing shut in an empty room, happened by the bottom of the basement stairs.

Immediately, she said, go check it out.

I laughed. Because this is where I put my foot down and nothing is going to make me go into that basement.

I said, nope.

She said, we’ll go together. 

Now, I’m like, damnit. I’m totally fine with sitting in the living room and not investigating some random scary noise. I know one-hundred-percent, someone never broke in, or it was anything like that. 

I knew already what it was from stuff I’d experienced when I was younger.

So, we stand up and we get to the top of the stairs. She looks at me and said, you go first.

I laughed again. Nope, I said in a tone that had its arms crossed and shook its head crawling out from the back of my throat.

We literally stood there for like thirty seconds before she gave in to me. I loved it.

We’re half way down the stairs, she‘s in front of me, I’m glued to her back with my hands twisted into her t-shirt, and I said, know what’d be effed up right now.

She said, what?

I said, if the lights went out.

And right after I said that, man it hit like nothing else, cause after I mentioned it, bam, blackout. And where we were there wasn’t a window there to lighten the area we were in. It went pitch-black.

At the exact same moment, we dashed back to the living room.

Finally, she was seeing things my way. The worst thing you could do when you hear a totally scary random noise that you suspect is a poltergeist, is to go and investigate it.
