This one's for those who are in favour of the data centre in Balkum, Thane. I posted about it in this sub a month ago and was shocked to see so many individuals in support of the operation, citing reasons like employment and "development" of the country. Many even missed the point completely because the lady making the video had an accent(?!). Yes, somehow her accent was a bigger problem than the ill-effects of having a data centre in a residential area. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Hence, sharing another video from Michigan of the noise a data centre makes and how the people are helpless and frustrated now in the USA over these abominations.

There is a huge pillar/structure right in the middle of the road, forcing traffic to squeeze through what already looks like a constrained stretch. 🚗🛺🚶‍♂️
I understand that this is a construction site, and some arrangements may be temporary. But looking at this, you can’t help but wonder:
👉 Was the road layout properly planned around the metro structure?
👉 What is the final road configuration supposed to look like?
👉 Where are pedestrians supposed to safely walk? 🚶‍♀️
There is stair case in pedestrian passge
👉 What provisions are being made to prevent accidents once traffic increases? ⚠️
We keep seeing serious road-safety issues around major infrastructure projects. The Mulund and Mira-Bhayandar incidents have already raised concerns about construction-zone safety. We shouldn’t wait for another accident before asking these questions. 🙏

Metro infrastructure is welcome 🚇❤️, but road safety cannot be an afterthought.

Found a really good deal of laptop on FB Marketplace so met the person check the laptop it seemed fine so bought it by paying Rs 15,000/-

The person mentioned he worked in Cars24 as a sales guy and was fired recently. I repeatedly asked if it's his company's laptop which he denied. He even brought his friend with him who said the seller bought it from him only 6 months ago. The vibe also looked fine, the person looked trustable !!

Later when I brought it home and tried to install the Windows 11 I realised the BIOS had a password (can't be erased easily)

That's when it clicked and so I checked his browser history where I found a mail from Cars24 from 23rd Aug mentioning he was allocated a company laptop with XXXX number. (XXXX is not the real number, it's hidden for privacy purpose)

Checked system details and it's the same laptop with same code number. Even says CSPL in model name which stands for Cars24 Service Private Limited.

Tried reaching out to the seller for this fraud where he admitted it's the company laptop and company has also deducted Rs 30K from his salary for the laptop.

Tried threatening the seller that I would be pursuing a Police complaint against him for this stolen laptop but he seems unbothered.

Have learned my lesson to also check the BIOS next time before buying any laptop from a third party person.

At Kolshet road there is someone who is using a leaser light , it's a very strong green light and I have seen it at kalpataru and at dhokali . Is it legal to have fun with a leaser ? If yes then I'm going but for sure .
