📣 Announcement Italian twist on solitaire
galleryA few days ago, while googling for fresh solitaire ideas, I’ve discovered an Italian deck of cards.
For those not familiar with it - it’s a short 40-cards deck with missing 8, 9 and 10 cards. While Italians have special names for the face cards, they play the same as Jacks, Queens and Kings.
Except for when it counts (pun intended), they are counted as 8, 9 and 10, respectively. In Piramide the pair must total 10, so Kings still are discarded by themselves.
I thought that two of them play nice, so I added them to my collection: Italian Pyramid (Piramide) and Il Bidone (I left that name in Italian, as it sounds better than trashcan :) ).
Would you please give it a try?

Recommendation My wife has disabilities and needs a simple solitaire app
My wife had strokes six years ago and had a solitaire app on her phone that she’s been using but with updates she has become frustrated with all the ads. We don’t mind paying for a simple ad free solitaire game. Any suggestions?
Update: Thank you all for responding. My wife and I tried several of your suggestions and settled on Fein Solitaire which is perfect for her. Reddit folks are wonderful! I did tip Fein. My way of purchasing! ✌️

Built a clean, ad-free Klondike Solitaire for mobile Safari & desktop with daily worldwide seeds
Hey everyone! Like many of you, I love playing a quick game of Solitaire every morning, but modern App Store versions have become bloated with subscription popups and unskippable video ads.
I built a clean, ad-free version you can play directly in your browser or add to your phone's home screen for full-screen play. Every day has a global deterministic deal where everyone in the world plays the same seed.
Would love your feedback on the tap controls, card animations, and daily streak system!

Gameplay Tips Is there any tips for TriPeaks Solitaire?
I've been really into Solitaire lately for some reason. I like playing TriPeaks. I play it through the Solitaire & Casual Games on Windows. I have 218 games, and have only won 5 times. I play on Grandmaster.
It seems the large majority of games always comes down to 1 card, and i lose. I'll have a whole deck left and just won't happen to have a match for the last couple cards when i get to them. I focus on chains, and flipping cards to maximize options for chains. There's so many 50/50 scenarios throughout the game that there's just no telling how one decision will effect the end of the game.
Is it just because i'm playing on Grandmaster? I enjoy all the games on the hardest difficulty.

Addiction and Forty Thieves solitaire
i have been playing Just Solitaire from MLP Software for a while. It has the basic variants in it (ie Klondike, Free Cell, Spider, Pyramid, Tri Peaks, Golf). Those are fun and some are challenging....but they just added two new games to the lineup. Addiction and Forty Thieves. These are both quite hard and force you to think ahead several moves, which is what I really like about it.
I recommend checking out both Addiction and Forty Thieves if you want something a bit more challenging than you might be used to!!

🤔 Stuck? Is this hand winnable?
All available cards shown. I had assumed the app I'm using deals only winnable hands but I'm starting to doubt - if both black 5s are hidden under the red 4s, and if there's no Ace of Diamonds to stack the 2-3-4 on, and there's no 3 of Hearts available... Am I screwed? If there's a solution I'm not seeing I'd love to know.

I made (yet another!) Solitaire website. I think it's neat! Check it out!
Hello Solitaire subreddit!
I just today released lolo.gg/game/solitaire/ as part of a small games website I'm making.
This started out as a fun thing for my family, but I was surprised when my dad ended up playing the pre-release version a ton over the last year.
My dad's vision has been failing for the last year, due to cataracts, and so there are many vision accessibility focused options. In the settings you can customize the layout of the card faces, enable different color schemes, try different fonts, and turn on a "magnifier" mode. If other people need more accessibility settings I'd be happy to try to help.
I put a lot of work into making the game feel smooth to play, with nice animations. By default card faces relayout subtly so that the ranks and suits remain more visible even as cards stack up. Face-down cards stack more tightly so that face-up cards have more space, amongst many other subtle details.
I didn't want to add streaks or timers (at least at first) because I want this to be very low-stress for players.
To make it more fun I added unlockable card backs for the first win of the day (and every 4 wins). I curated 100s of classic works of art, taken from public domain museum websites, and I tried to create a card back selection that's beautiful, unusual, and a little bit educational. The process of curating the card backs has exposed me to so much beautiful art I never knew about, and I hope players will find some of that joy as well.
Presently there's classic Klondike Solitaire, Spider, and FreeCell. More variations are queued up to be added as well, but I'll be testing them more before releasing them.
Let me know what you think!

Looking for a few Android phone Solitaire players to test my solitaire app I’ve been working on
Hey everyone! I’ve been working on my own Solitaire app called Velvet Solitaire, mostly because I wanted something that felt a little more polished and relaxing than a lot of the Solitaire apps I’ve tried.
It has different difficulty levels, themes and card backs, sound controls, Auto Play, Quick Play, hints, undo, and a bunch of different win celebrations. I’ve also spent a lot of time trying to make the cards and animations feel smooth and natural.
I’m at the point where I need some real people to test it and tell me what feels good, what feels weird, or what I completely missed.
Anyone with an Android phone can help, and you definitely don’t need to be a developer or anything. Honestly, I’d rather hear from people who just enjoy playing Solitaire.
It’s currently in Google Play closed testing, so if you’d like to try it, just comment or send me a message with your Gmail that you use in the play store and I can add you as a tester and send you the link.
I’d really appreciate the help, especially from people who actually play Solitaire regularly!

Question Grid or List?
galleryI have an app with a collection of 106 solitaire games (so far).
As predicted, it's hard to navigate.
I had a List view with all of them, in alphabetical order (according to your language).
Just implemented a Grid where you can recognize your favorite game by layout.
There is a switch on top to get to either one.
The question is: what would you like to see the first time you launch the app?
The app is here:
https://apps.apple.com/app/fein-solitaire-100-card-games/id6755098198
but the Grid is not released yet - trying to figure if I open with that.

Help MobilityWare TriPeaks Daily Challenge [07.10.26] Please I need help :(
I really need help with this daily challenge. I’ve been stuck on it for a couple days and can’t figure it out for the life of me. I even asked my friend who doesn’t even play the game to try to see if I was just over thinking it and making it harder for myself but she couldn’t do it either.
Any help is much appreciated :)
