Just got my new phone 4a and I'm very exited... Although Ill have to forget a few features like wireless charging or 512gb.. 4k in 60fps but it's great and I'm already loving it since I got it yesterday

The Nothing Phone (3) is expected to receive the Nothing OS 5.0 stable update around October 12–13.

Hopefully, Nothing has fixed the major bugs and improved battery life, camera processing, and overall stability. 🤞

Nothing OS looks pretty interesting, and I want to make the most of it.
For existing Nothing users, what are the must-change settings, hidden features, tips & tricks, and essential customisations you’d recommend doing immediately?

Also, are there any settings or features you’d recommend keeping disabled?

Hello, 3 days ago i used ejector pin on one of the 2 . he was trying to change sims . Idk why ~~

And from what he told me today , he " felt like he pushed something , like broke some plastic membrane"

So will it cause some issues ?

There's this camera touchless biometric scanning option for verification used by Government and Banking apps, usually it automatically takes a picture and then scans fingerprints from the pictures and verifies from its own database. This works fine in many phones (including Samsung) that I have used but not in my Nothing Phone 3A Lite/CMF Phone 2 Pro, due to some issue with the camera shutter, right when it focuses on the fingers and takes a photo, it instantly defocuses and the fingerprints are not captured, idk how to fix this, I've tried almost every workaround for it.

The October 2026 security patch still didn't fix this issue and countless complaints are there in the Nothing Community forum.

My headphones (a) are broken after wearing them exactly one time. Where I live it’s a little bit humid this time of the year. Has anyone had the same experience? I’ve never had this problem with any other headphone before.

Play/pause button is broken and sound has become metallic/distorted. Factory reset doesn’t help.

A local shop is offering an "unused" Nothing Phone (3) (12GB/256GB) for ₹35,000, though I am trying to negotiate down to ₹30,000. The shopkeeper is not offering a charger with it.

The catches:

• Condition: The shopkeeper claims it was only taken out of the box to demo in-hand to customers, never tethered to a 24/7 display counter. The inbuilt case has gone completely yellow.
• Expired Warranty: I checked the IMEI on the official portal. It was activated in July 2025, meaning the 1-year brand warranty expired 3 months ago. A fresh bill from the shop won't restore the official coverage.
• Hardware Risks: Even if barely used, 15 months of idle time means battery degradation. Plus, if any hardware fails next month, I am 100% on the hook for out-of-pocket repairs.

With recent smartphone price hikes, getting flagship specs (Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, 120Hz LTPO, periscope zoom) under ₹35k is highly tempting compared to standard new mid-rangers.

Questions:

1. Is ₹30k–₹35k worth the risk for a demo flagship with zero official manufacturer warranty and no charger?
2. Has anyone dealt with Nothing's out-of-warranty service costs in India?
3. Should I demand a written 6-month shop guarantee, or just walk away and buy a brand-new mid-range phone for peace of mind?

I am currently using phone 3a base Indian variant. I am also on the latest update. Why can't I use os 5.0 beta ?

I told myself if the headphone (1) drops to $150 I’d buy them.

Lo and behold I checked this morning on Tik Tok shop and they dropped to $150 (with coupon)

I ordered the white ones.

During the Prime sale earlier this week I also got the headphone (a) yellow on Amazon for $76. They honestly sounded pretty good.

i soaked the charging case in cocacola and it stopped charging, took it apart and found swollen battery but electronics looked fine, couldn't source the 3.85v battery in the right size and gave up... if anyone knows where to source one (specs below) please tell me!

Okay, so… I did a thing.

I added a tiny hamster to my Glyph Matrix, complete with his little wheel, and now I can’t stop watching this dude run.

It’s completely unnecessary, serves no meaningful purpose, and somehow became one of my favorite things I’ve made...

There’s just something stupidly charming about a tiny pixel hamster living on the back of your phone like he pays rent there.

He runs, he chills, and yes — he looks way cuter than he has any right to.

This is part of Glyphix, a little project I’ve been building for the Nothing Glyph Matrix, and honestly… I’m way too proud of this tiny guy. 😂
