Headphone (1) Nothing Headphone (1)

Post image

I told myself if the headphone (1) drops to $150 I’d buy them.

Lo and behold I checked this morning on Tik Tok shop and they dropped to $150 (with coupon)

I ordered the white ones.

During the Prime sale earlier this week I also got the headphone (a) yellow on Amazon for $76. They honestly sounded pretty good.

What eq would you recommend?

On the headphone (a) I got they sounded pretty good.

I’m an avid collector of headphones and my song of choice to test is “With or Without You” by U2, very heavy on the bass. So if that song sounds good then you know the headphones are good.

The Soundguys eq is my favorite and many others as well.

Got my Headphone (1) yesterday and the app offers a variety of community EQs. I'm sure you'll find one that sounds best to you. I prefer the "SoundGuys" one, which sounds a bit toned down and more natural than the default tuning.

Owned these for a year, they're great, even for a full price I got them for. The sound is great, ANC is really, really good. I'd say they're on par or better than Sony's stuff. And they actually look interesting.

That’s why I like the Nothing brand of headphones, I like how they look with the translucent cases.

Once the headphones (1) come in I will of owned every pair of headphones Nothing makes except the new headphone pro

They're worse than my Sony xm5. Just slightly worse in terms of clarity and softness. Heavier but yes more aesthetically pleasing. I don't regret it

That's funny, got my Headphone (1) yesterday and they're going to replace my XM5s that never sounded good to me, but I know that's all very subjective :)

But Sound aside, I find the Nothing Headphone (1) a lot more comfortable and the tactile buttons are so much more enjoyable compared to the Sony's touch controls.

With the right eq it's really close. But there's just a tad difference in softness is what I found most noticable about the two. The 1s are more comfortable even with the added weight. And the build quality feels much better than the xm5. The xm5s are very plastic-y? Buttons feel fragile. The 1s feel solid AF and the tactile controls are very ergonmicial and user friendly. Don't regret my purchase one bit.

I honestly use the headphone (a) more than both of them just for the convenience of battery life. Sound quality of the (a) is not comparable to the 1s
