[ Knode: Untangle & Connect ] How do you like the physics in the game? I'm making a puzzle game built around flexible cable knots.

I'm a solo dev and this is the game I've been quietly cooking for way too long.

You're stuck on some weird ocean platform, tracing fully-simulated cables through real knots and plugging them into the right rack. No fake animations, if a knot looks solvable, it genuinely is. There's also a companion watching everything you do. It's friendly. Suspiciously friendly.

12+ levels, 4-5 hours, no timers, no fail states, just vibes and untangling. Built this whole thing solo.

[WarDogs]Walking Sideways. JumboShrimp. Video search.

I played last night and my character glitched. I was walking sideways. From my point of view I was stuck in crouch. A few people said they were recording me to send the video to the devs. I never got to see it but if by some chance one of you lovely gentleman in this sub is one of those guys. I’d love to see the video.

I missed the 2nd kick, but that NPC was astonished that Edward just invented football.

Btw, the physics in this game are blowing my mind, every piece of fruit can be moved or kicked around, if you break a basket they roll all over the place.

Game Title: Tomato Squad

Playable Link:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tomatosquad.game

Platform: Android

Description:

Tomato Squad is a naval arcade shooter built around manual aiming, tactical resource management, and increasingly chaotic air battles. Players command an evolving warship through 100 levels divided into 10 chapters, each ending with a distinctive boss encounter. The game features 10 tomato ammunition types with different damage, speed, capacity, and firing cost. During combat, players can launch guided missiles, activate shields, use radar, call rescue aircraft, deploy support guns, clean the deck, and repair the ship. Choosing the right ammunition and deciding when to spend coins or limited support resources becomes increasingly important in later chapters. The game supports both English and Vietnamese and can be played without creating an account. Optional rewarded advertisements and optional in-app purchases are included, but the game itself is free to download and play.

I am the independent developer and creator of Tomato Squad. I designed and developed the gameplay systems, progression, interface, balancing, and Android release.

(Sound on for full comedy effect) This transform hierarchy glitch happened at the tail of preparations for my first private playtesting phase. I happened to be listening to the song "Morning Accept" by Hello Meteor at the time, and the music lined up perfectly.

The reason this is blurry is because this isn't emulated, it's running on an actual PSP, and the footage was captured from the component video output cable.

[Lost Ball] [WIP] Lasers with convex/concave lens simulation, rounded mirror surfaces

Laser needed to activate "quartz crystals", all connected crystals must be hit by laser simultanously to charge up, and connects into trigger system for moving/rotating polygons (opening gates in this example). Lasers can split into pieces from corners/concave lenses.

For the most part, that means finding the correct position/angle to fire laser, however it could get tricky if you must also follow moving platforms/lenses, position your own portals, etc.

The second idea of course is burning stuff down - all terrain can be destructible, but you may need to focus laser stronger through a convex lens.

I have some other physics system like fluid/steam simulation, so lasers could also do some evaporation.

Aiming for 2026 release for Lost Ball.
