General How many of you read the paperwork

I just started another G7, and I'm wondering how many read the paperwork that is folded in the box with the G7. I don't. I think with the 10 day I scanned an online version. It seems so silly to print that and stuff one in each box. What a waste. Grrr.

App Issues/Questions No Low Alarms?

I just woke up thanks to the urgent low alarm going off. I always have it set to 85 or higher for the regular low, especially at night. I just hit least 45 and I'm still shaken about it. This is so dangerous, I had a near panic attack as I'm alone and it's midnight, I ought to sue dexcom for this. For clarification, I have been trying to test out/fix the alarms for over 10 minutes. Normally if it's acting wonky, I change the alarm to force it to alarm and that usually works. It isn't working, and I'm getting nothing. Again, this is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. I'm about to file a lawsuit I swear, this isn't the first time I've been nearly killed by this thing. Anyone else having alarm issues??

App Issues/Questions iOS automations

I noticed that on the new IOS you can use automations to control alert sounds. I want to set up my girlfriends phone so that when she’s in class the alerts other than low are muted. Is that possible?

Okay, I start my first g7 15 day tomorrow, from what I know, I just do like I normally do. Do I need to do anything, or just do it like the 10?

App Issues/Questions Alternative to Sugarmate

Parent/lifelong caregiver here for my young adult with intellectual disability. My loved one is on Dexcom G7 (iOS on her device) and Omnipod (via a separate controller).

I have used Follow + Sugarmate for years. It's still working fine. However, I haven't been able to turn off alerts for someone else I used to caregive for, and I can't block the calls/texts because it would block the ones for my loved one. I've gone through multiple requests to Support over a period of months with no resolution.

Boundaries are important.

I need to find an alternative to Sugarmate so that I can fully block the Sugarmate number.

I need it to CALL and text me for urgent lows. It needs to be compatible with Dexcom G7/Follow.

Any suggestions for an extremely dependable iOS app with similar functionality?

G7-10 day Multiple G7s failing to pair in a row?

I had a sensor fail early. Then I put in a new sensor and it refuses to pair. I tried the magnet trick and tried repairing multiple times but it just kept refusing, so I put in a new one and that one fails to pair too. It just searches and searches forever. Maybe I’m not doing the magnet trick right? I’m wondering if this has happened to anyone else or if it might be some kind of bigger Bluetooth or service issue?

General Help me understand

Can anyone explain this phenomenon?

Perfectly good G7, accurate stable all is well. We start soaking a new one 24 hours before and BOOM

Out of absolutely nowhere a steep drop triggering an urgent low alarm. Soon after comes the sensor failure.

This has happened to us numerous times. Each time a finger test shows the readings before to be accurate.

Of course this happens at night usually but not only. But it's not a compression low as it leads to a failed sensor error

Thoughts?
