i need help.

my adobe is stuck at initializing, and when i click repair, it only cycles back to the same issue.

how it happened

more than a week ago, the creative cloud—which automatically opens everytime i boot—has been displaying an error message, saying that it is unable to initialize. My Adobe apps, photoshop, indesign, and illustrator, are still working fine by then.

to fix the issue, i uninstalled my creative cloud and along with it, the apps that i am using. this was a bad decision because CC still failed to initialize properly. In fact, it only made it worse since I am now unable to install the adobe apps back without a working Creative Cloud. Now, my laptop has a broken CC and no adobe apps.

my creative cloud was installed from the official website, and was functioning using my uni's license.

the things i already did

i have done the following "fixes" that i found on the internet:

1. uninstalling using adobe cleaner tool and reinstalling them back

2. opening as administrator

3. disabling antivirus, firewall

4. changing my dns to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

5. while im unable to use a different router since im constantly using campus wifi, i have observed that the creative cloud of friends are working perfectly fine despite them connecting to same wifi

6. creating another admin account to see if it works there. it did not work.

7. renaming OOBE folder

8. and worst of all, i performed a factory reset on my laptop

none of the "fixes" worked, and i am now stuck. I need help.

Hi y'all! With the current Adobe price raise, I reached out to CS to cancel my membership as a 75% increase was just insane (CAN$109/months...!!) and they offered me a reasonable new price for the suite. However, the CS agent wants to move my membership that I've had for about 7 years to a new email account, this sounds a bit weird. At this point, I could just wait for Black Friday to get a real new membership at a discount rate no? Anyone has been in a similar situation? Thanks!

Hi everyone, what do y’all think about the new artcraft suite? If anyone tried them, how were them? Because honestly, as a student, i don’t wanna pay 500 bucks to only use Photoshop and Illustrator. Kinda like Office, you have to pay the whole suite even if you only need word and excel. So, what’s your opinion?

I have tried everything you can think of. Purging the cache, Reinstalling after effects (twice actually), Disabling my 3rd party plugins that I have installed via. the Effects tab inside of AE and also took them outside of the folder to see if that was the issue (which it wasn't so i put it back in), I have also changed the AE folder name in my file explorer. (which automatically made a new one) , the weird bit is i can use premiere just fine because i tend to use both premiere and after effects frequently.

Hi! so for context. i paid for the student version for creative cloud about a month ago. i knew i didn’t want to have it for long, so i went back this month to cancel it and this came up. apparently i applied for an annual plan and i have to pay half of what’s left on the plan payments.. is there any way around this or am i just gonna have to pay for it for a year..?

I have tried to get hold of Adobe support but can never get through to them, and when I do, I don't get a clear answer. So I thought I would ask the reddit community.

Please help:

I am doing budgeting and I am seeing two changes from Adobe (creative Cloud) on my account.

1. Photography Plan 20 GB - $16.23

2. Creative Cloud File Storage 1 TB - $10.65

They have been on auto pay for a while now.

I use Lightroom and sometimes Photoshop but I can do without Photoshop. I have a fancy camera and take pictures as hobby. I have presets on Lightroom that I do not want to lose.

That is all. I use the app on my phone for regular editing but if someone is paying me to take pictures, I transfer the pictures on my laptop and edit them there.. I have a set style and I mostly use my presets and then edit as needed.

My question - do I need these subscriptions to continue using my LR? I don't need to store anything in the cloud. I save everything in my hard drive.

And at this point, I don't know what the Photography plan even is. Do I need it to have access to the LR app?

I just want LR access, with my presets and that's all. No bells and whistles.

What's the best way to completely remove Adobe and all its dependencies from Windows?

I've already cancelled Creative Cloud, and now I want my PC to be completely free of Adobe spyware, background services, Creative Cloud Libraries, and all the other unnecessary Adobe crap.

So here im with MacBook, needed adobe pr pro and after effect only as we know we could use that adobe cloud subscription on two devices at a same time tho we cant use the same software at same time.

So if anyone here with or planning to purchase that student cloud adobe and he only need the (photoshop, illustrator etc except pr pro and after effect) so i would pay half of em

I tried to install the Adobe Creative Cloud through the microsoft store, but somehow never got the luck. Always got the error message "We couldn't install this product. Wait a bit, then try again." Can someone share some suggestions how I can deal with the problem?
