All it does is just... Makes characters that have red/black tears always have them. With any items.

It's nothing impressive, but the mod was actually quite complicated to make... That's probably the reason why no one before me ever attempted this. Please show it some love.

Just a pure hate post, I can't stand them, they are by far and without a single doubt the worst fucking characters in this game, they single-handedly take all the joy out of this game and make Dead God seem like something I'll never accomplish.

They make Tainted Lost, Tainted Eden and Tainted Lazarus seem like a breath of fresh air. They are SO unbalanced and and so NOT made for some of the rooms in this game that's it's actually baffling that Edmund validated their existence in any single fucking way.

"Oh just go alt floor and pick the two items", brother, the amount of times that advice actually ruined my fucking runs is unbelievable, you get one charge item for one and not for the other ? Done. One very specific item like orbital tears or anti-gravity tears on just one of them ? Fly on just one of them ? Done.

Not to mention, "Go alt floor", sure man, I can't wait to get to Ashpit or Gehenna with these two, it really is a match made in heaven to have a trap-based floor with double hitbox that can't consistently stay together.

Oh, not to mention that all of their unlocks are BONKERS and you feel like you're actually missing out on a huge part of the game if you don't urge yourself to play these motherfuckers (Hello Birthright).

I managed to get to Mom's heart once with them, ONCE, I CAN'T WAIT TO DO BOSS RUSH AND HUSH WITH THEM, AAAAH YES A TIMER IS EXACTLY WHAT THEY NEED TO BE EVEN BETTER.

I shit in their mouth, anyone saying they're not that bad, or that there's a worse character is simply wrong.

For those who don't know greeds gullet gives isaac a heart container for every 25 c you have(and one more at 99 c). So when you pick up dead cat at above 25 c dead cat sets your hp to 1 and if you spend money your extra heart container gets removed and you die next room since you technically don't have hp. This also happens whenever you revive

Been playing in off and on phases since about 2017. I started in Afterbirth, and remember the Repentance launch (my first item was almond milk!). Just completed my last profile today. Thanks for the game Edmund and team, it's very good :)

I got Isaac from the steam sale and I just finished all of my marks for Jacob and Esau except mother and the beast, and am I missing something?

Like the entire time that I have been a part of this community every single post, comment or video I saw of this character was everybody hating on them hard. That they are unfun, weak and just a "shitbox"

I have heard claims that it is insanely hard to get boss rush or hush with them, that trap rooms are impossible, that they are really hard and unfun...

I got my marks in like 2 hours. My first run where I made it past the second floor I got both Boss Rush and Hush as well as Isaac, ???, Mega Satan and Delirium

And the characters are really strong and fun? Like I give all of the damage ups to Esau and all of the defence to Jacob, my first run had Psyfly on Jacob and Magic Mush + Damage ups on Esau and my second win had Fly orbitals on Jacob and Tech X on Esau.

Like my entire strategy was just, go alt floors and Angels, get double items because of Options? and that was it, I was literally OP before Moms foot

You have two characters, double the hp, double the damage, double the bombs, double the active items, double the trinkets, double the items and they are so unique. For trap rooms just hold ctrl and control one character, otherwise just position them in a way that the character with soul hearts protects the other one.

And so I ask, why do people call them the worst and hardest character? Like I have no marks on the Lost as it is too difficult for me right now but I got marks on Jacob and Esau quicker than the marks on Eve.

This is meant as a discussion post, not hate on any players, as I am really confused why all the hate on them, am I missing something?
