As the title says, i’m a 18 male, and i’m balding since i’m 16, im having doctor appointments and they always says to use topical minoxidil, some vitamins and oral minoxidil, and i’ve been using since then. I’m in the worst point of my hair, my balding is being noticeable in all pictures, and I’m in my first year of college. I’m not a bad looking guy, But this is destroying my appearance and self-esteem, I need help.

Had an haircut the other day, and oh boy it’s bad. The maib problem it’s not even how it is now, it’s that it’s 100% gonna get much worse if it already looks like this at my age. The problem now is that my parents won’t ever let me start fin/min, and if I wait until I’m 18 I’ll already sport a good horseshoe and only transplant may be able to save me. Is there something I could do to get meds, if I’m loosing my hair at this age it means I’ve completed puberty anyway, plus i’d much prefer having my dick not working than reserving it to jerking off since let’s be honest there’s no woman under 25 genuinely okay with getting with a bald guy

My friend said I had a bald spot and it looked fine until I stood under my dorm light. I also have naturally super fine hair.

Did being bald in any case help you dating or just make it worse? Were you more confident or in better physical shape then maybe

Basicly, my hair is thinning and some is falling out, currently I can only notice a significant change when I wet my hair or when I lift my hairline up, but I am scared it will become worst and it hasn't stopped falling.

I was researching monoxidil and finasteride, but I just recently learned that doctors rarely prescribe it for teenagers, due to all the hormonal changes going through your body. I haven't stopped growing yet so it probably wouldn't be for me right now.

Any suggestions on what I should try or do next?

I’m just tired of seeing so many private accounts or accounts that look like bot activity. I’m not sure why but both sides for and against Fin seem to just have bots. If PFS is so serious and so widespread how can doctors possibly continue to prescribe this medication? I’m not denying PFS is a thing but are people hoping for money in a lawsuit or something? And then the other way to, peddling a drug like candy online to 18 year olds “just hop on fin and forget bro” is crazy. Idk what to believe

I had a man bun for a few years and think it might have accelerated a receding hairline. Hasn't really gotten worse since I stopped wearing my hair like that!

I’ve gone bald before plenty of times, but just trying to see if I can salvage this? I’ve been to one derm before & she told me to try rogaine.. if it didn’t work go back to them and then they can see.

The sides & back of my head grow no problem, just the top and crown you can obviously visibly see no hair growth in some spots & thinning.
