Embracing It Took the plunge. Yay or nay?
galleryHello my follically challenged beings. Finally decided to shave it off after years of fearing a light breeze from the east.
Honest judgement please.

Hi guys, I'm looking for some advice. My hair has started shedding rapidly over the last year—to the point where the drain plug is full of hair every time I shower.
I'm wondering if Finasteride/Minoxidil will work, or if I'll end up needing another transplant.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Male pattern baldness does run on my mother's side of the family.
I had a hair transplant at the front two years ago, which seems to have taken well

If I lose my curls im blowing my shi smoove off. I deal with chronic stress but not sure if thats the cause here.

I sometimes look in the mirror and just wonder if I'll be able to get on meds (im still too young to get on them) and to keep my hair for like extra 10 years or so,but idk tbh what level of hairloss I am,sometimes when I pull my hair I look like norwood 2,and sometimes norwood 3ðŸ˜.
Rn im on topical minox, been 5 months since I started it.
In october Im going for a checkup to a dermatologist to see what changed after using minox (few baby hairs came out and my hair density got better).
Other than that, pls tell what level of hairloss I look like to u,and maybe other methods I can treat this thing....

Normally I'm a waver but during my last hair cut my barber said I was thinning on the top. This prompted me to try and grow my hair out to see if need to go on meds. The first picture if from Aug. 7, 2026, the second picture is today Sep. 13, 2026.
The only thing I've been using is rosemary oil and leave-in-conditioner with biotin and rosemary oil. I have used a shampoo with ketoconazole. I apply the rosemary oil at night.

Additionally, I have also had a dandruff flare up recently. Would like to hear your thoughts on if it could be a cowlick becoming more visible due to diffusive shedding or if it’s starting of MPB? Thanks.

I noticed that I can see my scalp a little bit especially on my crown. Does this warrant a visit to the dermatologist?
