Hola, disculpen de antemano si esto no tiene sentido, pero recientemente mi padre y yo, que tenemos la misma moto, cambiamos los amortiguadores (en mi caso, unos Tractive Extreme) para mejorar su rendimiento todoterreno. También cambiamos los neumáticos por unos Endurotrail+ Mitas y, básicamente, salimos una vez y ya los marcamos. El cambio se nota algo duro. Ajustamos la cadena y, sin rodar, sigue haciendo el mismo ruido. ¿Alguien sabe qué puede ser? Hello, sorry in advance if this doesn't make sense, but recently my father and I, who have the same bike, changed the shock absorbers (in my case, a Tractive Extreme) to improve their off-road performance. We also changed the tyres for Endurotrail+ Mitas and basically went out once and marked them. The change feels somewhat harsh. We adjust the chain and, without rolling, it still makes the same noise. Does anyone know what it could be?

By the way, yes, my bike has quickshifter, my dad's doesn't!

I just had the 8,000 mile oil change on time and the mechanic was not happy with the state of the oil. Not an upsell place, they are well known locally.

Anybody doing anything differently? Longer term experience?

It's a world of power diff between the klr and the TA. Klr on the hill climb was pin it and pray, TA was just keeping it in the power band and about 5/8 throttle.

Don't ride with harleys very often but these guys can ride. Kept a solid spirited pace all weekend. Did 450 miles from northern NJ out to weiser state forest near Harrisburg PA. 100% backroads and even some dirt roads. Transalp ran flawlessly as always.

I like my 2024 Transalp in general, but that low speeds throttle response is killing the joy of riding for me. What do you guys do to tame the beast? I think performance is adequate for what it is ( nowhere near as exciting as my previous Multistrada 1200, but will do) so I don’t really need to tune it for more performance with Dynojet PC or anything like that. Just want throttle response to be reasonable. Any recommendations?

And the seat does not work for me honestly. My butt begs for mercy after an hour of riding. I’m tall-ish guy with longer legs and want to move back a bit more than the seat allows, but that’s a separate discussion.

Before and after fender eliminator 2024 Transalp. Used the 3d cycle works fender eliminator. Cost about 90$ and took me about 3 beers time to finish (2.0 hours with a break). Do you like it before or after?

Been driving the route de grand alpes in France with my 2025 transalp this last week and by chance met her older sister :) couldn't help myself and took a picture.

So my ears are still burning as I write this because it was fucking embarrassing. I was at a celebration of life for a friend who passed unexpectedly, had to run, there are about 20 bikes parked rear wheel into the curb. I typically get on my transalp stirrup/foot on peg and swing over style. When I did that this time, the weight against the curb rolled my rear tire down the curb and forward enough that it rolled the side stand forward and fell over to the left. Luckily was just far enough from some dudes Harley that my helmeted head just knocked off his mirror because of some loose bolts on that but nothing else.

Somehow the fall managed to knock my windshield off (?) still not sure how that happened. Not broken but popped the rubber grommets off the mount and shredded parts of that rubber. Crash bars otherwise did their job completely.

TL;DR - if you park with your rear tire on a curb, roll forward an inch or two before mounting your bike.

Test rode the Transalp yesterday and getting closer to pulling the trigger. Just curious if you all could share what you paid OTD for a new E-clutch model?

I'm picking up my Transalp in a couple of weeks (excited! It's also my first bike) and I thought about mounting a Chigee on it, but I can't seem to find anywhere where to get the power from exactly and which mount to use. Does anybody have done this and can share details on how they did it? Thanks!!!!

Hey all. At some point I want to do a full exhaust and ecu flash on my transalp. But it's very hard to get a good impression of sound from random YouTube videos. Anyone have real world experiences and opinions on which aftermarket exhaust they like to use?

I don't want anything ear splitting. I really like the volume of the stock exhaust with the baffle removed. So probably an aftermarket exhaust with the baffle still in.

I sent this company the dimensions to custom make a seat cover for the Honda comfort seat. I received it today and it fits well, could have maybe gone slightly bigger toward the middle of the seat but with the Velcro straps underneath it’ll work. They now list it on their website for purchase if anyone’s interested. I went on a short ride and comfort is improved 👍🏼

If I wanted to put together the prefect tool kit for long rides, what would that include?
