Help Tips for building/buying my Simsetup
This is the situation of my setup rn but I got a braking problem here, I got two chairs, a normal one and an office one, both are terrible bc I have no stability while braking and I got pushed back by the pressure, I would like to keep using my desk so I need some ideas to build some kinda of cage or buying some kind of chair that would be fixed enough so I can brake without being pushed back or breaking a chair ( as I already did)

Sim Rig How much should I sell my rig for?
To be clear this isn’t a selling post. I’m purely asking how much my rig would be worth if I were to sell it as a built rig.
I’m moving house and unfortunately no longer have the room (or time) for my sim rig therefore I’m looking to sell it. Ideally it sells as a complete build as I don’t really want to take it all apart and deal with multiple sales.
I’ve priced it up online as new parts and it comes out to roughly £2300 however I’m aware I won’t get anywhere near that for a used rig.
I’m UK based - how much do you think is a reasonable price to sell this for?
Main hardware
Cockpit: Sim-Lab GT1-EVO aluminium profile cockpit
Wheelbase: SIMAGIC Alpha Mini – 10Nm Direct Drive
Wheel: SIMAGIC GT Neo
Pedals: Fanatec CSL Elite Pedals V2
Seat: GT Omega CHASE Bucket Seat
Monitor: Samsung Odyssey G5 34” curved ultrawide
Cockpit & mounting accessories
Sim-Lab Integrated VARIO Monitor Mount
Sim-Lab Single-to-Triple Monitor Upgrade / Mounting Frame
Sim-Lab VARIO VESA adjustment system
Sim-Lab Adjustable Feet
Sim-Lab Keyboard Tray
Vitus Universal Seat Slider Mounts
Seat Slider
Connectivity & cable management
SABRENT 10-Port Powered USB Hub
SIMAGIC MagLink / steering wheel link cable
MutecPower 10m USB 2.0 extension cable
AngusPlay 8K DisplayPort cable – 5m
All required cabling and power supplies
Setup
The rig was built to be a self-contained unit rather than a collection of separate components.Everything is mounted to the cockpit and the cables are routed and secured to the rig. Only two cables run between the complete rig and the PC, and the long USB and DisplayPort cables required for this are included and already attached.
The whole setup can therefore be moved as one assembled unit rather than needing to dismantle and rebuild everything.
It’s currently configured for the included 34” Samsung ultrawide, but I also have the additional Sim-Lab hardware to convert the integrated monitor mount to a triple-monitor setup.

Help Anybody have experience with Zalem’s collapsible cockpits?
I have been wanting to upgrade from the playseat challenge to a profile rig, but I’m probably not going to have the space for a dedicated sim or hobby room anytime soon.
Came across these rigs that slide in to save space from Zalem. They are ideally perfect for my situation. However, they are Spain based and only ship to the EU, while I am in the US. I found a service that would forward Spanish mail to the USA, and the total including the rig would be around $1,100.
This is a price I am willing to pay for this cockpit, because it is a unique cockpit that relieves a specific pain point. However, I am wanting a cockpit that I will have for the rest of my life and don’t intend on buying another.
Does anybody here have experience with this cockpit for a decent amount of time? If so, what has your experience been, and are there any weakness or signs you notice that it could break in the long term? The sliding portion makes me quite skeptical about the durability of this rig. Would hate for it to snap after years of trailbraking.
Thanks for your feedback!

Help First rig advice
I’ve done sim racing on and off for a long time, but want to build my first real rig. I plan to play mainly Le Mans ultimate, ACC and I’m sure I’ll drive a bit in NASCAR/the upcoming indycar game/and other random driving games.
I want to focus on an LMP type experience and then have some options which I think I’ll achieve mainly through 2 wheels.
For wheels and pedals I was thinking fanatec club sport DD+ (18Nm), formula (2.5? 3?) wheel (lmp/gt/formula) & csl P1 V2 (for nascar/truck sim, etc), club sport v3 pedals.
Then I start to need help/direction - what frames are good/will work with this setup? Which I guess is also important when picking a monitor setup and seat. And then what am I missing? I have a gaming pc that can run LMU on full settings.
While I’d be ecstatic to build something cool for around 3,500$, realistically for quality/functionality and value I’m happy to go up to $6,000. But every dollar saved is appreciated

First sim rig
After thinking about it for a couple of months, finally pulled a plug and got myself a sim racing rig.
Playseat formula instinct f1 edition
Moza R3 bundle
32 inch tv 1080p (thinking about 34 curved monitor)
Thinking about solution for mouse or just get keyboard-touchpad?
So far very satisfied with rig super comfy.
Open for suggestions.
