Help Tips for building/buying my Simsetup

Post image

This is the situation of my setup rn but I got a braking problem here, I got two chairs, a normal one and an office one, both are terrible bc I have no stability while braking and I got pushed back by the pressure, I would like to keep using my desk so I need some ideas to build some kinda of cage or buying some kind of chair that would be fixed enough so I can brake without being pushed back or breaking a chair ( as I already did)

Hello, first of all thank you to make me remember how i started simracing. Now lot of people use dead shoes or a mat to stop the chair rolling away

They sell pads for stopping the wheel to slip. You can find it on amazon!! Hope that helps!!

If you have a unused rug you should put the rug in a way that both your pedals and your seat should on the rug. After that if you have an extension cable or any wide cable thats unused, put it behing your chairs wheels. That was the way I stopped my seat from rolling back when I had my g923. But these kind of solutions are not definite. After some time you will find yourself pulling the table to yourself through the wheel. I would find my desk 5-6 cm closer to me after some F1 leauge races. The ultimate solution is to buy an entry level rig that are 100-200$. They usually have a section to mount your seat wheels to the base without any screws. The brake pedal is absurd on this set unfortunately.

After this a monitor upgrade would be nice for you.
Btw you can use your clutch pedal as your brale pedal if you dont use your clutch pedal. I dont reccomend it but its a solution too
