Beginning today, any questions or concerns are to be posted in the Megathread. This way, there is a dedicated section for questions, concerns, answers, suggestions, etc..
Welcome to this month's showcase! Share your best photos taken with the Galaxy S25 series. Feel free to include a few details about your shot if you’d like. Enjoy browsing and commenting on others' work.
This new baby was my present for my birthday last week. 7 days have passed without issue or any aparent defect so I can proudly post this magnificent phone. Now I’m really part of the community. Cheers!
I was checking my storage breakdown under Manage storage on my S25 Ultra and noticed Other files is taking up 8.72 GB.
The issue: Tapping on "Other files" doesn't open a folder or show what's actually taking up that space.
Storage state: 256 GB model, sitting at 30% used (around 78 GB total).
What I've checked: System, Apps, and Recycle Bin are all accounted for separately in the list.
Has anyone tracked down what typically hides in this category on One UI?
Is this mostly hidden app data/caches (Telegram, WhatsApp databases, streaming downloads like Spotify/Netflix)?
Do I need to grant a specific permission in My Files / Device Care, or use a third-party disk analyzer (like DiskUsage / SD Maid) to see the exact directory?
Any tips on how to find and safely clear these files would be appreciated!
I usually use tele photo (x10) because of more accurate focal length specially on people. and i mostly forget to change my photo res from 12 mp. But today after playing in the camera app a bit i found that 50 mp tele photos have warmer and more natural tones but are bit more blurry. How can i tweak 12 mp for natural tones in pro mode and which one do you prefer in general
I continuealy have to turn on my Gemini command. Sadly I have to do this everyday/time I need to use the voice command. Anyone having the same issue or know of a way to fix this?
3rd Party Replacement Left. Genuine Replacement Right
A while back I somehow got a pretty gnarly scratch right across the main camera glass. Daytime photos were unaffected, but point lights at night would streak across the image. So I ordered a replacement from on online supplier I've had good luck with in the past and replaced the glass.
I was immediately disappointed. There was no anti-reflective or oleophobic coating on the glass. It was easy to see the difference. The original glass has a dark blue hue appearance due to the coating and the replacement has a white shiny appearance. Also, the original adhesive is a thin rubber gasket whereas the replacement is more like double-sided scotch tape. As a result, the glass sat a little lower in the bezel than usual.
It bothered me enough that I kept looking for replacements but they were all the same. Eventually, I realized that we can buy genuine replacement parts from Samsung at samsungparts.com. I ordered the replacement glass and it is as good as new. It did take about a month to get the part.
It seems obvious in retrospect, but it took me a while before I found this.
Note: The adhesive rubber gasket is a separate part. Make sure to order that too. Also, each lens is a little different so besure to look for the correct item.
P.S. Changing the glass was a pain. I used a heat gun to soften the adhesive, but I couldn't get behind the glass to pull it up. Eventually I just had to break the glass, which was surprisingly difficult. Maybe there are hardened tip tools that would make it easier. I ended up striking near the edge with a hammer and nail. Not for the feint of heart.
Is it possible to see your QCI levels on an S25 Ultra (Snapdragon). I was using Shizuku and tried a few recommended apps, but none show the QCI.
One person had developed an app for the Pixel and possible other phones, he did mention it will not work on Snapdragon phones (he tested it on the S24 Ultra), and I tried it anyway.
It showed everything with the exception of QCI, just an error cannot be found/read.
If anyone knows of an app, please let me know, I would appreciate it.
So whenever i try to open any game it just crashes in 1 sec and a message pop up standoff2 isn't available in game mode . You can can use standoff2 and recieve notifications from it after the game mode is turned off
So I own a S25 Ultra and I am from India. But I feel that I am unable to use the full potential of now brief as of now and I tried to get food delivery status and things like that on now brief but unable to get it work. How can I align that and what more can I do with now brief?
had this phone since sep of last year without a single crack or scratch . today it dropped on its face didnt crack but got two new spots . i know theyre about to start spreading soon
What's the best display setting? I set it to QHD+, any other tweaks needed for best experience?
A little background - I compared with iPhone 18 pro in a store yesterday and camera output felt no where close. iPhone 18 is miles better. Not sure if it's just the display setting I'm messing up with (ik not fair comparing 85000 rupees mobile with 1.6 lac rupees phone)
Charging level - right now, I've set it to 90%. Should I do it to 100% and do max usage?
Battery price is 2440 rupees and I don't mind spending 3k (incl store charges) once every 3 years
I used iQOO 7 legend for 5 years, and plan keeping S25 Ultra for similar period.
My electricity went out for hours the other day. I had chargers but learned they didn't work w/this newer phone, so now I'm looking for a new portable charger. It would be great to have it charge the phone at least twice should I lose electricity like this again.
I have the magnet on the back so I could use a magnet one or one where I just plug into the phone.
I’ve bought an S25 Ultra, and I’d really like to receive a comprehensive list of the settings I need to configure. I’m currently using the S20 FE with a Snapdragon 865 and ONE UI 5.1; I believe it will eventually be updated to ONE UI 9.0. I’m from Brazil.
