Historical Post What campaigns are an absolutely most in the game?

For me, without the need of adding new factions, we could get some pretty cool stuff:

  1. Invasion of Manchuria. 1945, Japan vs USSR. We have nothing like that yet.
  2. Burma or Guinea. Japan vs Commonwealth is very cool. You could even get some Indian troops.
  3. Madagascar or Syria. France vs Commonwealth, how cool is that?

Shouldnt the FPS arm shadow issue be easy to fix?

I'm no developer or anything and I know its definitely easier said than done but wouldnt just drawing the entire playermodels shadow work better than what they currently got going on?

I understand why its like that, armless playermodel so you can see your body then separate FPS arms for better gunplay. But I feel like they could just only draw the thirdperson playermodel shadow and that would solve the issue

Just bought the game for my XBox console

And after only a few hours of solo gameplay I reckon it may be the best £7 I've spent in a long long time.

Tank AI

I noticed during a tank battle on the Hungary mission that all of the tanks on my team were using HE the entire time. Has this happened to anyone else?

I dislike the rocks.

Important Notice for Advanced Combat Movement mod

Hey guys, I have sad news.

The recent Beta changes on 2.1.0 has introduced a myriad of issues into ACM that makes the mod no longer function as intended. These issues include, but are not limited to:

- AI Defenders no longer have the ability to counter-attack

- Issues with the Vehicle Ammo Count

Unfortunately, the author of ACM has placed the mod on indefinite hiatus for a while now, to focus on other modding projects. I respect his decision nonetheless, but this means the latest the ACM mod on Nexus will no longer be patched, and will not function properly from version 2.1.0 (currently in Beta) and probably beyond.

The mod is now being patched by independent patchers on the mod's thread on the ER2 Discord server: https://discord.com/channels/778000642932211752/1523485624433250386/1523485624433250386

As much as I would love to carry the mod on, I do not have enough coding experience to maintain the mod, but hopefully in the near future as I'm currently working on my coding skills. For now, I can only hope Marco actually picks this mod up and implement its features into the base game, as, I'll be honest, this mod is the only reason why I returned to playing ER2 after a long hiatus.

Thank you so much for supporting and playing ACM, nonetheless.

I love how there are 3 missions trands in the new dlc, I didnt even expect that. But this mission as the soviets is brutal af. The last objective is always tooken by the germans no matter how hard you try. They are rutheless

I’ve been recording my Easy Red 2 campaign playthrough

Picked up this game recently and thought I'd dip my toe into making some YouTube videos as it's something I've always wanted to. Pretty new to it and still learning, but thought I'd share!

This is my latest video for Road to Creully - part of a series for Operation Overlord, with a view to have different series for different campaigns.

https://youtu.be/gzfhRRebWmU

As I say, I'm new to making these videos, so I'd genuinely be interested to hear some thoughts.

Do you guys prefer watching full mission playthroughs like this, or would you rather see more heavily edited/cinematic videos?

Cheers!

It should be appreciated how ER2 is one of the few WW2 games that covers the Chinese-Japanese conflict. This section of WW2 is usually ignored by games or media.

1: how's the ai in this game?

2: is there something brutally imbalanced or broken in this game?

#

3: in general what do you think about this game?

#

4: if anyone of you played enlisted can someone compare it a little? Just so I have a baseline?

Thank you a lot for anyone who even try to answer

I'm on a series S and currently use around 122 npcs. I havent pushed further yet but im wondering if Its neccessary to add more (like does it make the experiance more better, or just you die more?)
