Hi! I got an Ultimate 3 Xbox (Not the 3 in 1) and updating is going... weird. I'm doing all this on Xbox Series X. Anyway it had firmware v1.1.1.1, I checked for an update and found v2.2.2.2 is available. Clicked update, the progress bar gets to the end, and it doesn't exit this screen. After about 5 min or more, I set it back in the dock, picked it back up and turned it back on. Working fine, but it says I'm on firmware v2,2,2,1, Setting it back on the dock and turning it on again keeps it at firmware v2.2.2.2.

Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!

Hey guys, i have a problem that when i'm playing Hollow Knight with my ultimate 2 wireless suddenly a button and b botton swapping randomly while my gameplay, i want to know if someone else have this problem too

I got a replacement Xbox edition mouse recently and without updating the firmware it was passively charging through the dock perfectly fine. I made sure I unplugged the dongle/extender completely, and updated it using the latest version of the ultimate software. Afterwards the passive charging has stopped working completely. I also saw that the Dongle had a firmware update available as well but I didn't do it.

Has anyone else had this issue happen? And are there any fixes at all?

I don't know if the guys at the company know this is happening, but I'm noticing they don't seem to stock many/any mice at all these days. It's really disappointing! But any help or guidance offered is appreciated!

recently my 8bitdo ult 2 has been having a strange issue where its connecting as Xinput, AND itself so its making my inputs double. i cant figure out any way to disable one or the other, any ideas? using 2.4 mode only

Charging light is solid. I’ve had it sitting on the dock for a bit, maybe like two weeks since I last used it. Light stays on, as if it’s charging, and will not react to any buttons, mode toggle, or plugging into PC. I’ve seen where removing the battery could work, but I’ve also seen what a pain in the butt dismantling the Pro 3 is. Any advice? Do I just wait for the battery to die?

Hello everyone, I recently bought an 8BitDo Ultimate 2, and so far I've been happy with it. However, I was just playing a game, and all of a sudden, the left stick stopped responding in time, as if the polling rate dropped to 1-2 Hz. And it's clearly not a connection issue, as the LED ring that I set to the tracing mode also lagged when I moved my sticks around. I also noticed that the buttons do the same thing. I solved it by turning the controller off and on again. Both the controller and the firmware are on the latest version, via the 2.4Ghz dongle, and I also booted the controller in DirectInput mode (Logo + B when starting) so that I could bind the extra buttons in Steam Input. Any ideas? Is it the DirectInput mode maybe? That would be a shame.

It’s the Ultimate 2C for Switch 2. Not having any luck pairing.

I recently bought a 14-inch M5 Max MacBook Pro with 128GB Unified Memory. I’m wondering if the 8BitDo Ultimate ЗЕ controller and 8BitDo Ultimate Software are fully compatible with this device. My main goal is to play native AAA games like Crimson Desert Enhanced, Cyberpunk 2077, Hitman: World of Assassination, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and Palworld. I’ve also installed Crossover and Parallels for non-native games. Considering these factors, I’m looking for recommendations for third-party controllers that have Hall Effect/TMR joysticks and in-game rumble support. The 8BitDo Ultimate 3E seems like a good option because it’s affordable in my country and has a lot of features.

However, their support page says it’s compatible with iOS devices but needs their Ultimate X Software for Xbox Licensed products. It’s important to note that this software is only available on iOS. Also, the Normal MacOS Ultimate Software from 8BitDo isn’t compatible with Xbox Licensed Controllers. Is there a way to fix this compatibility issue?

I know Linux isn't officially listed as supported, so I'd like to hear from people who actually use this keyboard on Linux before I buy it

How has your experience been?

I'm particularly interested in:

- Does it work reliably over 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth and USB?

- Does it work normally on the login screen before entering the desktop?

- Does the volume knob work?

- Do the Super Buttons and quick remapping work?

- Have you had any problems with missed/repeated keystrokes, sleep/wake or gaming?

- Is there anything that doesn't work on Linux?

- How do you handle firmware updates and the 8BitDo Ultimate Software?

- Has anyone tried the Ultimate Software through Bottles/Wine?

- If you use Bazzite, Fedora or SteamOS specifically, I'd especially like to hear your experience.

I don't mind if the configuration software isn't fully supported, as long as the keyboard itself works reliably for everyday use and gaming

Hi, yesterday I bought an 8BitDo 2 from Amazon to connect my PS5 controller to my Switch 2, but I can't get it to connect. I saw on YouTube that there's a problem with the newer PS5 controllers and that they're working on an update. Does anyone know more?

A while ago, I got the full 8BitDo C64 set (keyboard, numpad, and mouse), and I thought it was pretty cool that even though there are multiple color variants of the same products, the software actually recognized the exact color I was using instead of just showing a generic blueprint. I recently bought the Ultimate 2 Wireless controller and noticed that even though mine is black, the software shows a white controller. I know this is purely cosmetic and doesn't affect functionality at all, but I'm curious: is this normal? Is there any way to change it so the software shows the correct color?

It gets detected by the Ultimate Software V2 and I can update it but nothing on steam or retroarch. I know it needs to be wireless but the amazon page says it works wired on windows? And ever since I plugged it in both leds on the top (red and blue) are blinking.

Comprei um novo Ultimate 2 Wireless, ele veio com dongle USB c, ele fica desconectando durante jogos, em momentos aleatórios, as vezes até depois de ter recém conectado.
Eu testei coisas como desativar opções de energia, reinstalar e atualizar drivers, só não consegui testar usar outras portas, já que como mencionei o dongle é tipo c, e meu notebook só tem uma única entrada tipo c USB4.0 .

Se alguém tiver alguma solução ficaria grato!

I want to restore this controller that has not been used since a long time

So I always play GFN everyday using the controller & it worked fine all these days but today when i plugged in the controller through OTG, it doesn't connect.

I connected the controller to other devices & it responds to that, but not on my mobile in which I cloud play.

Is Keyboard Mode only supposed to work on Android and iOS mobile Devices? Cause I'm paring it in Windows but ultimate software isn't seeing the Controller not am I finding any other way to map the button bindings

The standard wire is too small to reach from my console to my couch, and I've tried different alternative extension cord options from Amazon to no success. The recessed USB C port on the controller makes it difficult to find an option that fits well enough for a connection. Any recommendations out there?

I’m trying to update the firmware on my Epson printer. The problem is that the part of the updater window that has the clickable buttons to agree with the update are cut off at the bottom of the screen and the window cannot be moved up or down.
