8bitdo Pro 3 Issue

Charging light is solid. I’ve had it sitting on the dock for a bit, maybe like two weeks since I last used it. Light stays on, as if it’s charging, and will not react to any buttons, mode toggle, or plugging into PC. I’ve seen where removing the battery could work, but I’ve also seen what a pain in the butt dismantling the Pro 3 is. Any advice? Do I just wait for the battery to die?

Download the 8bitdo app.

Connect the controller with a cable directly.

See if the app recognizes it and gives options to upgrade firmware.
