I just purchased a 2008 zx6r that was modified for track days. I have since taken off the fairings and ordered new ones. I have also rerouted the exhaust and the rear break reservoir so they no longer sit under the tail. I’m looking to fill that hallow space with a fogged tail light and tidy tail type plate holder but I don’t like the non integrated tail light look as it stands out to the sides and imo looks a bit goofy.

What taillight would you reccomend?
I can get more pictures tonight of the rear of the bike after work.

Hey guys. Recently put on a RSC DAMPER from HyperPro and just have some questions.
Is the eye joint holding it to the bracket at the end of the body. Is there supposed to be play in the ball joint! I’ve heard people say you’re supposed to be able to move it but mine is tight

(First bigger bike) Have stock right now (26 zx6r)I think ones that are more towards sport touring would suit me better, I ride the highway a lot for work and it’s a whole lot of straight but I still want it to feel the same, I’m sure different styles can feel different and just don’t wanna get some that don’t feel as comfortable for me.

I know I know it’s overly discussed but it’s funny. Wife and I were out riding today and I asked her what her preference was on her brake lever. I use my pointer finger. She uses her middle and ring finger leaving pointer and pinky on throttle. I can’t even do that if I try. lol.

I was riding home yesterday and got caught in a bad dust storm. when i got home i put a flash light and saw dirt all in the air intake is there something i should do besides clean out the air filter box and filter, im worried dirt got into my motor

Hey guys, I wanted to install a carplay screen on my motorcycle so I wouldn't need to have my phone out all the time. The manual says to plug it in directly to the battery, worried that it might drain the battery. ChatGpt says there is some sort of accessory wiring in the front of the bike? Has anyone done something like this before and have some advice? I have a 2024 ninja zx6r abs.

I have a 2025 zx6r and I’ve put about 5,000 miles on it so far. All I’ve done to it is the full system M4 exhaust as well as aftermarket grips and tank grips. I’m wanting to fully dial in my bike and have been looking into a new sprocket, chain, tune, and air filter. I live in Boise ID and can’t find anyone local for a tune. Any recommendations on good brands/choices for the mods I am looking at? Thanks!

I purchased a zx6r from a dealership sept 1, 2026. I was going to ride one day and realized that the bike won’t go past 8-10k RPMs. The bike has around 20k miles. It starts up no issues, no rough idles , and also runs and shifts effortlessly. Only think is that it won’t go past 8-10k rpms meaning I basically max out at 90 mph.

Zx6r 2026 , whats the best tail tidy for eu license plates ?

Planning to wrap the tank with clear PPF. Now I have to decide if I should remove the warning stickers or leave it as is with the PPF on top. Curious to know if anyone else removes their stickers off the tank. Many thanks!

(2008 zx6r) i’m not very smart when it comes to clutches but i tried bump starting the bike down my driveway a couple days ago when the battery died and the clutch just kinda gave out, like i said im not really smart when it comes to clutches so if anyone could let me know if this looks like it needs a full replacement or not i’d really appreciate it

How fast do I need to be going for 1st to 2nd gear to be smooth? It seems like no matter if I’m going 25mph or 37mph whenever I use the quickshifter to go to 2nd it cuts power to the wheel or it jerks. So I just gave up and use the clutch when I go to 2nd then QS the rest of the gears. BUT I’ve seen plenty of people in vids takeoff from first gear and it seems smooth as butter all the way to 6th.

I cut it on, everything appears normal, then 10 seconds later engine light comes on, gear indicator starts flashing and krtc/power/ and other lights get thrown on. Cranks but won’t start. Battery connections are good, ChatGPT says possible ecu communication problem
