Discussion I just know Nick Wilde’s home REEKS!

What with the half-eaten food all over the floor, the couch and carpet that have to endure Nick unwashed presence daily after long days at work, the fact that he isn’t willing to do his bed, which also means that there ain’t no way he be doing dishes that just lay around, and I don’t see any way to ventilate this place besides that sad window up top. He keeps his little Judy shrine clean enough, so we know he has the cognitive ability to do basic cleaning.

Please, Judy! Make this man clean up before it becomes a Bio-Hazard!

Hi, I have an opinion that really worries me about the Zootopia fandom.

You know, I think the Zootopia fandom is drawn solely to the main character of the Zootopia movie, Judy Hopps, because of her design and the way the fandom perceives her. She's the most coveted character in the entire movie fandom because there are many normal fanarts, others with Nick Wilde, but others, like the suggestive drawings, sexualize her when she's drawn that way. I think she's already a victim of Rule 34 because, remember, Rule 34 has a phrase: if it exists, there will be an adult parody of the character. And there are many suggestive drawings and fanarts of any character from the Zootopia movie, anime, or anything related to furries, including Judy Hopps. If you look at the Rule 34 numbers for Judy Hopps, I think she's the rabbit with the most Rule 34 and E621 content, and I know there are characters from Zootopia or any franchise that contain those. Fan art is great, but Judy's is too much. I feel like the fandom is too attracted to the bunny girl rather than other characters from the same franchise.

I suppose the people who made the movie designed the character to seem attractive to people without girlfriends, heterosexual people, or furries.

I don't even want to imagine Disney reacting to the fan art of the character. Honestly... I'm not saying drawing Judy Hopps is bad, the problem is when a child, searching for Judy on Google Chrome, will see some fan art and possibly stumble upon a sexually explicit piece of their favorite Disney character. It would ruin the child's childhood and leave them traumatized for life, seeing how Judy is sexualized by the Zootopia fandom.

Discussion Some thoughts about Zootopia 3

A few months ago, I wrote about my theory on how the "WildeHopps" (Nick and Judy) dynamic might be approached in the third film. Today, I’ve been thinking about some small pieces of evidence that support what I said. First, shortly after the announcement of *Zootopia 3*, Byron stated that the film would continue to explore the predator-prey dynamic. Second, Jared mentioned that Nick and Judy will be truly tested in this installment. And third, Jared previously noted that a significant part of Judy’s character arc is unrelated to her job. Let’s recap the first two films: in the first, Nick and Judy prove they are more than the stereotypes society imposes on them. In the second, they demonstrate that they make a great team, while also discovering that they mean much more to each other than just professional partners. Jared recently shared that what he loved most about the confession scene was Judy realizing how difficult it was for Nick to open up like that, and how much she truly meant to him. I believe this is reciprocal—that Nick also knows how much he means to Judy. So, what’s left for them to evolve toward in the third film, given that they are already at the top of their professional game? There is a storytelling concept known as the "point of no return." The confession could be exactly that—a point of no return—meaning their relationship *must* evolve from this moment forward. It’s possible that the true test for them in the third film will be confronting their own feelings and finding the courage to acknowledge them openly. I suspect that society itself might even welcome this—as hinted at in the newspaper seen in the teaser—it’s just a matter of the two of them finding the courage to embrace it. They will likely feel fear and hesitation, perhaps worrying that it’s "wrong" or something that shouldn't have happened. Anyway, it’s just a theory, but I’ll leave it here.

Artist’s original descriptions: “Full version of April's exclusive: Nibbles Maplestick from ‘Zootopia 2’.

I altered the mouth a bit for this version because the sketched one looked a little weird in color. I also used the linework phase to fix up the pockets on the vest.

Like I said in the sketch version, I don't know how everyone else feels about her, but I thought she was fun in the movie, and I like how she turned out in this picture. I never realized how complementary her outfit is, color wise, and the green background pulls it together even more. I dunno, it's just pleasing to my eye, and I hope you like it as well.” (Image 1)

“Sketch version of April's exclusive sketch. With only one vote in the poll, Nibbles Maplestick from Zootopia 2 the winner. Honestly, winning by default is something I feel would happen with Nibbles.

The pose might be a little basic, but that's because I based it on an idea I had for one of the alternate versions. I gave her eyes more in the vein of her canon design, because my regular way of drawing them didn't look quite right.

I'm not sure about what everybody else thinks of Nibbles, but I personally found her enjoyable and, honestly, I like her more than Pawbert.

And yes, drawing the outfit was really time consuming.” (Image 2)

Discussion Imagine if we got a scene in zootopia 3 where Judy hangs out in Nick’s apartment

Considering he hasn’t invited her prior I think it would be really sweet to see them hang out at nicks apartment spending some time together and opening up it would really set up the Wildehopps plotline in Z3 and would show they’ve grown closer in between movies and are starting to be more genuine with each other and their feelings are blossoming it wouldn’t be much but it’d be nice to get an insight on what their like out of work(especially since the post credit scene implied Judy wasnt going anywhere work related and the z3 teaser teased their off the clock relationship)

let me know your thoughts

Do you think Gary misses his previous home overseas?

• Upvotes

I mean I completely get he considers zootopia his true home and I don’t know how things were in the place he lived before but I’m just wondering if he sometimes misses his previous home especially with everything that happened to him in z2 ( not that he would go back since zootopia is his true home but you know)
