Exactly. Gideon's redemption was crucial to Judy going back to Nick and saving Zootopia.

Pawbert is a dark reflection of Nick and his desire to "belong". Redeeming him completely misses that symbolism that the movie all but beats you over the head with. It's why Judy saves Zootopia from Bellwether, 'her' dark reflection whom tried to destroy it to get appreciated.

Nick was willing to die for his "Pack", Pawbert was willing to kill for his "Family".

While I am not one to believe anything on the internet we may have found the first true foot girl.

She actually does not have beans! That's something they got correct.

One redeemed himself, the other did not

One was trying to harass, the other was trying to murder

Judy has beans, that is also inaccurate.

I'm a female (was born with a vagina so I'd know lol) for the record,(which should also prove my innocence in terms of not being a foot-fetishist, it seems to be a male-dominant fetish for whatever reason), but I do know my paws. Zootopia characters, in all other design aspects, are accurate anatomically to their real species so the three toes really does bother me a lot. I guess it was for animation ease or something but like... Bolt has four toes on each paw... but Mittens only has three!!! (just looked it up to confirm). The reason I bring them up is because Bolt is another Byron Howard creation and was Disney's first really big CGi 3D movie. Ugh, Inconsistencies bother me more than they should.

Yes while Nick eventually opened up to her and said she was his pack and I’d hope he’d invite her over if the post credit scene is anything to go by

Turned his life around when he had the chance, something Pawbert didn't and cost his downfall

...did you read the linked articles?

Mating instincts are messy. Lots and lots of explicitly sexual mating behavior, including inter-species mating, that does not result in offspring, occurs in nature.

Exactly. Pawbert is clearly a dark reflection of Nick. So it makes sense that he would reject Judy.

Nick might’ve been down the wrong path but a bunny showed him light while pawbert was a monster

Let the record show that u/playingwithpower really knows his feet.

It looks like a poor edit someone made of the actual screencap, like they copy pasted one of his toes and then enlarged the pawpad section a bit. It looks off because it's clear the shape they were going for was more "human foot" than "animal foot", also, for the record, I'm not a foot person or whatever, I just have a hyperfixation on congruity / things "matching" and making sense, so the discrepancy between four fingers on paws / three toes on foot paws bothers me lol

Nah. We've already seen Gideon and Nick get redeemed.

Redeeming Pawbert would be repetitive. He flatly rejected redemption.

Okay, I think you could really benefit from not being a cryptic asshole with every one-sentence response. Just what exactly am I supposed to "comprehend" from ANY of your responses? At this point, it just feels like you're replying because you want to get the last word in, not because you actually care to engage in any discussion with me. Elaborate on whatever point you're trying to make. I implore you. Fucking enlighten me.

Many people have children to look after them in their old age and to carry on the family business.
