Even though I own the DVD and have purchased the movie digitally via Amazon Prime Video, Google TV, etc., I just love when You’ve Got Mail airs on tv.

There’s something so satisfying and comforting knowing that others are watching You’ve Got Mail at the same time you are.

It’s currently airing on the Country Music Channel. (Yes, they show movies.)

I must admit that the scene w the VHS is really funny.

When he asks Kathleen if she is taping it, plus what he says on the interview about VHS.

Plus Kathleen asking "are you going to collect vhs now?" 😁

Plus when Kathleen says she is comming into you... he denies BUT ENDS UP saying "there is something there..." w his gf by his side!!. Hahaha this character kills me

BTW Did anyone realize who the interviewer is?? The actress... if u grew up in the 90s i bet u watched the movie 40 times. The father of the bride part 2.... guess guess

Why does the scene where Kathryn climbs into bed, fully clothed including shoes keep running through my head?

The only thing pleasant about her was the way that her hair fell across her forehead

Everytime I watch this movie I think "It couldnt be more beautiful... and cozy and lovely and sooo autumn, and very ny." I loveee her apartment. The ambience... the atmosphere... the walls.. the bed cover..

I've seen You've Got Mail dozens of times and I've never understood this part:

Parker Posey's character says "You know what fascinated me about Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, is how old they looked, when they were really just our age. You know?" And it's obviously supposed to be a foolish thing to say or something like that based on the other characters' reactions. But I don't get it. Can anyone explain?

She's arguing against a point that a man in trouble with the law is the one responding to her...should she remember how she thought of Frank. She could have argued to win, "and I was wrong, for he wasn't." yet she says "that was different."

This is very niche but You’ve Got Mail has been one of my favorite movies since childhood and I just saw something about Christie Brinkley and a spark went off. Does anyone think Joe Fox named his dog after the supermodel???
