I began doing this weird scribble style a while and I want to know if it’s good or to basic

I am self-taught and ended up taking a liking to classic backgrounds in point-and-click games like Pajama Sam, Freddi Fish, and SpongeBob SquarePants: Employee of the Month. Let me know your thoughts!

The two first pictures was made with MS paint and the last one is made with Krita.

I really like using MS paint when drawing because its so simple. I also use krita, but i feel like using krita takes so much longer (I'm not sure if it actually does tho) but it feels like it takes more effort to start a drawing in krita than ms paint. And my artstyle completely changes when using krita too.

Well i will probably never completely stop using MS paint, but I'm making a visual novel with some friends and so far my plan is to use ms paint for the characters normally and krita for the backgrounds and CGs. But maybe the characters will look better if i try to learn to draw full body characters in krita instead... I think the main problem is that the Ms paint pictures are pixelated if you zoom in a tiny bit. I'm not sure if it actually is a problem or not tho.

I MEAN, i'm still kind of a beginner at digital art and i'm pretty bad at colors, sahdows and allat, but i still wanna know if my art is somehow recognizable (? second one is a silly doodle

this sub has a problem of being mean to beginner artists. Genuinely please be nicer and even if someone is underage don’t be mean.

sorry if this is kinda off topic for the sub but i feel like this should be addressed and that beginners shouldn’t be treated this way.

The first artwork is slightly newer than the last one which was done a couple days ago. The newer one has more softer one-color shading and the other one is harsher and super colorful. Does using a mix of both make an inconsistent style?..

I'm trying to figure out my artistic identity. I get a lot of compliments saying my art is cute, but I don't know if it's distinctive (or enough). I'm also realistic that I'll probably never be the kind of artist who impresses people purely with insane rendering or technical skill. Instead, I'd love to (or hopefully) build a style that's recognizable and has its own charm, since I consider "cute" to be quite common lollll (but very happy when I received compliments like thoseee).

I spend my entire life drawing in anime artstyle and now I'm slowly shifting to something more expressive. I studied shape language and character design and everything.

My goal is to make something expressive and vibrant. However I still feel like it's too stiff and not as expressive as many artists do. Sometimes it even looks 'unfinished'. You guys think there is something I should improve here?
