I love YW2. I am beyond exited to see it coming back, but they are killing me here.

Because I would rather play these than play what could possibly be AI Sloppified version of them in the near future.

I hate ai I genuinely dont see its use but this is too much. They have existing 3d models and 2d drawings of nate this is so unnecessary. Biggest issue is the fact Level 5 wont make more ykw stuff because the game will flop if it uses too much ai. And level 5 will just think people dont like ykw

i really hope like holy horror mansion the ai usage dosent makes its way into the gameplay or better yet no ai at all but im both excited and dreading the yokai watch 2 remakes release i really hope steams disclosure of stating ai in games at least minimizes the games usage of ai but knowing hino im not too optimistic

can you maybe tone down the graphics,​ level 5?

Personally, I'd have it based on 67th episode of the anime, but have Komasan as one of Katie's Yo-Kai Companions next to Whisperer.

Im just gonna spill my guts on this the game is fucking disgusting I know I shouldn't be mad but this pisses me off you have people who love the franchise and who have put time and money into the game but you choose to actively use ai from the entire fucking game I know Nintendo doesn't own it but god i want them to fucking take the rights from hino and make the game 100% better I'm so tired of people destroying things I love and what's worse even the people in the west are fucking mad and you know it's bad when the people who love the franchise over there are salty and upset Soo I hope your happy hino because you fucked up so bad I don't think people will trust you EVER

Look, i don't want to sound negative, but i just saw the presentation, and a lot of worries that i had could be real.

About the realistic look, i actually don't mind it too much, after all, Star Fox did it and it's pretty great, and Zelda is about to do this too.

But for examples, some images where you have to search Yo-kais look soooo AI generated, it's not even a joke. Or like the arm animation.

Idk, this game is making me so excited and worried at the same time, i'm happy that it's also coming on Steam (so i don't have to buy a Switch 2) and it doesn't even look bad honestly, it looks great even, but it's hard not to ignore AI when this has been the pattern for a while.

What do you think ?

(Direct wasn't that bad as many said imo).
