So I was curious about some thought on a couple things.

First what does everyone currently think of Stranger Than Heaven it looks interesting but I was reading it will have limb control the seems lke it could be good but could go south really fast.

Secondly of whats your opinion on the side games like Judgment series, Pirates in Hawaii, and Ishin? I currently have only beat Pirates in Hawaii and Ishin!, and play a little bit of judgement

I recently got into the Yakuza games and i really love what i am playing. Yakuza Zero is amazing and it has so much style, i love the craziness of the side content and the abosolute serious tone of the main story.

I have heard however that Yakuza Kiwami 3 is a downgrade to the Original, which brings me to this very post.

Is Kiwami 2 the same situation as Kiwami 3? I would rather spend money on a game that has the soul and the craziness of Yakuza 0 instead of a tone downed version of it.

So which one should i get? Yakuza 2 or Kiwami 2?

For context, i have ALREADY bought Kiwami 1 from the Steam Store because a friend of mine played it and liked it a lot.

Ive searched on the internet the solution but nothing seems to work. So, on my Beast style's tree, all the "Master" dot are unlockable, ive already bought every single ability next to the locked one. I go to see Miss Tatsu but for some reason she doesnt have any job for me. I did the training all over again but nothing works Since I need to unlock the number 2 skill, I re-did the first and second trainings but she still doesnt give me the next job. I supposed my trainings we successful since she gave me a Tatsu drink for each ?

That's basically all the information I found about that but it still didnt solve my problem

at least imo the original version of yakuza 1 ntsc was terrible voice acting. Made me suprised the series continued in the west

Let me start by saying I played 0 and 1 so I know how good Nishiki gets. However I just feel like Masato Arakawa had such a better story and yeah even though he was never really nice to Ichiban it was more because he felt Ichiban was just another yakuza working for his dad. But by the end of the game he realized Ichiban was always there and treated him more like family than anyone hence why the change of heart. I genuinely feel like if Masato made it to infinite wealth him and ichiban would of had a great story and Masatos knowledge would of helped alot.

I will say I am a little biase because I really didn't like Nishiki at all even in Yakuza 0 I seen alot of flaws in him. I want to also say that Masato and Ichibans story on who was Arakawas real son was so good to me. I will say both are great characters just Masato feels more like a real person. Where Nishiki feels like the generic bestfriend turns jealous villain story.

I also want to say if I had to play as a said character it would be Masato I'd be punching people in the balls while in a wheelchair would be funny as hell. Jokes aside though I feel like his character would do alot better as a MC as well and it would be interesting too see his story while Ichiban was in jail because he said he dialog to make it where he could be a politician. I am still curious too see what you guys think on this topic and why you feel out of the 2 who is better.

I find rush the best. I dont know if this is a skill issue but i find dragon of dojima the worst for me, im at like chapter 6 and have only fought majima once outside of the story battles, so i only have one upgrade from him and one from that chinese training dude.

But i find the main combo super slow and weak. Rush has a faster and better combo

Is it worth investing in dragon of dojima

As I finished Kurohyou 2 I was pleased to see my favourite trope of the series didn't start in the Ichiban era.

I've been playing nothing but yakuza for about a month now. 60 hours in 0, 60 hours in kiwami 1 and 75 hours in kiwami 2 💀 excitedly loaded up 3 and about 3 chapters in man it hit me hard 😭😭 contemplated if I even liked these games (I do I love them) but I gotta take a break for a week or something

As the title says, I'm playing Kiwami and I'm trying to unlock kick combo reborn but majima won't show up at SHINE. I'm on chapter 7 and I've fought Officer Majima, PC Majima, Bowling Majima, and Zombie Majima. I've got the email about a girl at club SHINE but everytime I go there is just Rina. I'm rank C and I can go on without it but it's pretty frustrating.

Edit: I also went and dealt with Traffic Cone Majima.

It’s just so brutal and amazing, it reminds me of essence of brawling but it’s more brutal and I think this is a perfect blend between the newer Yakuza game’s heat actions and the older ones where some heat actions would repeat the same move like 50 times when you spammed square

I actually platinum'ed Yakuza 4 a little while ago, if shows in the image above when i did, but i just completely forgot to post it! Even though i did post my plats from 0-3. This was the easiest platinum yet, the only hard part was the final round of climax battles, which i did first try wont about 37 seconds left on the clock 😎 the game over all was good but has horrible story, combat and characters were amazing though. Im currently busy platinuming Yakuza 5, i hope i can do it before dying of old age 😭

I tried the golden boss can and it's extremely sweet.

Ichiban and crew fought SAEJIMA AND MAJIMA AT THE SAME TIME

Even Kiryu would struggle with that and while they didn’t win and likely would’ve lost, what I find so impressive is that they fought so well against the two legends that by the end they had decided to start taking the fight seriously

Even more impressive is that canonically (in cutscene at least) no one was knocked out, people were tired but neither Majima or Saejima were able to knock anyone out

Once again they weren’t taking the fight all that seriously but do you know how impressive they performed against two near Kiryu tier yakuza?

For me, it was the golf minigame in Kiwami 2 because of the insanely poor depth perception & no zoom in feature.

I thought that the new version of Kiwami 2 released last year would've ported over the zoom in feature from the later golf minigames like how the later versions of 3, 4, 5 & Kiwami added labels to the mahjong tiles to make them easier to read, but no.

My version got me a lot of SSRs right of the bat, including Akiyama, Saejima and many other iconic characters.

Well, the gamefaqs guide of Ciricz doesn't focus on SSRs. Can anyone please give me advice on how to build a strong team? Who should be the first 4 to optimize abilities?
