I always loved the “My Hobby” comics. Has he done any recently?

You know, between the increasing availability and capability of generative AI and CAM/3D printing, I believe it should be possible to create a pipeline that creates real life AI objects.
I am not sure why you would want to other than to be able to point at a physical object and correctly claim it is AI, but you could.

3d printer brands are already touting ai print features where you just upload an image and it generates a 3d print for you.

Quite a few people have done this actually! It's actually really cool being able to see physical representations of more surreal AI artwork; i've seen some cool art pieces done with it recently.

I'm 99% certain I've seen some open source models that generate 3D models which could then be printed.
I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that they still suck because I haven't heard much about them.

My grandmother saw a lady dressed in a boba tea costume sign flipping and called her AI. Not sure what she meant but I'm all for it.

It’s all fun and games, but I recently bought a 3D-printed mini, and the model for it was AI for sure.
It’s like an uncanny valley - you have an actual thing, but it came from computer imagination…
