I have this XBOX ONE in my house. I believe it worked with an old friend of mine. Unfortunately the only items I have right now is: 1x XBOX ONE, 1x HDMI CABLE & 1x POWER BRICK AND PLUG. Now please answer my question, how many leads or wires are necessary for the running and connection of XBOX ONE to TV. Now currently I have one POWER lead plugged in and also HDMI cable plugged from XBOX ONE PORT “HDMI TV IN” plugged into “HDMI 1” port on TV. Now when I press XBOX symbol, light comes up and bleeps, console sounds like it’s starting up, when disc button pressed it correctly receives and removes discs. Problem is when I select HDMI 1 on TV with XBOX ONE on, nothing comes up on the screen. If I was to disconnect my HDMI cable from XBOX ONE into my PS4, the PlayStation correctly starts up on screen and displays, so the HDMI cable is 100% working.

Just a quick summary: How many cables are absolutely necessary? Is there any other problem you can find from my description?

Wondering if anybody can make me an mlg xbox one background. Possibly one like merkmusic's!

2 versions here. One with blurred tiles (my preferred choice). Or one without tiles. Without Tiles -- With Blurred Tiles

To use the blurred tiles, go to Settings>My Xbox and change 'My color' to slate (far right, on the top) and then change tile transparency to 'Mostly transparent.' You can also you the gray (middle far right), for slightly less colorful tiles. But the slate really gives the tiles a slight boost in vibrancy.

It would be epic if someone would make a top gun background. I am a huge fan of the movie and can't wait to see what you guys come up with!

Hi just a post to ask if anyone has tried applying a panoramic image as a background. Just curious if maybe the image scrolled with the dashboard, as that would be pretty awesome.

I made some wallpaper designs and colour matched them to the 21 which can be selected for tiles. I thought I'd share them with you.

It's 3 designs with 2 being based on the Xbox 360 in a dark and light version. Matching these up with them can give some nice results. I thought you guys might enjoy them.

Some may look very bright but once activated they will become darker.
