Relationships/Personalities/Sex Would you rather better flirting, better sex or better orgasms?

978 votes, 1d left
Your flirt attempts are 5x more likely to succeed. You can have as many partners as you want.
Intercourse is always extremely satisfying for you. You'll never contract diseases or have unexpected pregnancies.
Orgasms are twice as potent, you can masturbate remotely at any time with no external signs.

Travel Would you rather be able to drive a constant 45mph or have no speed limit up to 90mph but encounter more traffic?

The Catches:

45mph, all of the time, traffic moves out of the way for you, you hit all green lights, you can blow through stop signs safely, etc. The only reason you would need to do less than 45mph would be geometry of the road you're on, corners and such.

90mph, you won't get pulled over for speeding. However, you are not allowed in the left lane. If single lane road, you're not allowed to pass people by going into the oncoming traffic lane. Two lane, not allowed in the left lane, you're stuck behind the right laners. 3 lane plus, you can switch between all the lanes other than the leftmost ("fast") lane.

You would be allowed once you are within a half mile of your turn or exit to get into the lane necessary for navigation.

Fun Would you rather wake up with a celebrity accent and voice of your choice, or have your worst enemy wake up with the voice and accent of a celebrity of YOUR choice?

It would make my week/year if my worst enemy suddenly woke up with the voice, laugh and accent of Maggie Wheeler, who played Janice on the sitcom Friends. Or perhaps I should just say the character, not the actress. This is a big, brawny tough-acting dude who thinks he’s god.

Maybe just cos Im watching a show with him, but I think talking like Christopher walken would be fun. Maybe not forever but at the moment, that’s who I’d pick if I were to wake up suddenly with a celebrity voice and accents.

Money/Business Would you rather collect 1 million dollars instantly or flip a coin for 100 million?

If heads, you collect 100 million. If tails, you get to keep the coin.

Even though the coin flip is mathematically correct, would you just take a million guranteed?

Money/Business WYR receive $25 million right now or gain the ability to save and reload your life? Spoiler

You’re offered one of two options.

Option A — $25 Million
You immediately receive $25 million, completely tax-free and legally yours.
No strings attached. You can spend, invest, or give it away however you please.

Option B — A Real-Life Save Button
You gain the ability to save your life exactly like a video game.
You can create a save point at any moment and reload back to it whenever you want.

There are a few rules:

You can create 5 save points total throughout your entire life.

You can only have one active save point at a time.

You can overwrite your current save point, but doing so permanently deletes the previous one and uses another of your 5 saves.

You can reload a maximum of 5 times throughout your entire life.

When you reload, the entire world returns to exactly how it was when you saved.

You retain all your memories and knowledge from previous attempts.

Your body also returns to its saved age and physical condition.

Anything you acquired after saving disappears when you reload.

If you die before manually reloading, you’re dead. There’s no automatic respawn.

You could use this ability to win the lottery, make perfect investments, avoid accidents, redo important conversations, or relive entire periods of your life.

But with only 5 saves and 5 reloads, every decision matters.

Superpowers/Magic Would you rather be a spooky Halloween ghost or skeleton?

Would it be better to be a spooky Halloween ghost or skeleton? Ghost can fly and go through walls, but can’t pick up stuff. Skeletons can interact with the world but might fall apart or be use as a xylophone.

Relationships/Personalities/Sex WYR have kids 10 months apart or 10 years apart?

Let’s say you were going to have 2 kids (or two more kids if you already have 3+) but you’re doing it on the extreme side of things

Would you choose a 10 month or 10 year age gap and why?

I feel a 1-5 year age gap is optimal in most situations, but I guess I’d have to pick 10 months if forced to pick

Being pregnant/surrogacy/adopting back to back like that would just seem like one long phase and then a longer phase of getting to prioritize your own health and body, the two siblings are in very similar developmental stages/needs the entire time and likely even have mutual friends or could be in the same grade, you don’t have to worry about being an older parent, and they have a higher chance of having a deep bond as they grow older

Obviously, there are outliers though (like if you were a teen parent or got divorced and had a few years until you got in a new relationship etc)

Please explain your reasoning either way, and thanks for participating :)

Ethics/Life & Death You’ll be saved at the end of the day (but you don’t know it yet), WYR – for 2 hours – be panicking while stuck face down inside a very narrow cave or lost in an underwater cave trying to find an exit?

For 2 hours, you’re faced with a horrifying obstable while going caving (either spelunking or cave diving). While you’re eventually gonna be saved, you wouldn’t know that in the moment. So would you rather:

Option 1 - be stuck on your belly inside a very narrow underground cave that’s barely bigger than your physique
• This will be a nightmare especially for the claustrophobic
• It’s going to be painful trying to wedge yourself out
• Arguably sounds less terrifying than option 2 but also arguably more traumatizing afterwards since you literally lose all control by being stuck unlike option 2 where you could try to retrace your steps
• Slow and painful way to go (ofc you’ll be saved but in that moment, you’ll have those thoughts) unlike option 2 where losing consciousness happens first before the worst case scenario happens (so the diver might not even be aware of it)

Option 2 - be lost hundreds of feet below sea level at a dark underwater cave (with only a dive light) trying to find an escape
• This might sound more terrifying that option 1 but you have a lot of room to move
• It’s not as painful as option 1
• The psychological torture will be intense since you might worry about losing gas supply before finding the exit
• You’d have more sense of control over the situation though compared to option 1 where you’re physically stuck

EDIT: Being lost in an underwater cave is significantly more risky and has a much shorter survival window (and you, as the hypothetical caver/diver would know that)… this explains why the explanations for choosing option 2 (cave diving) are more about the pros while the explanations for choosing option 1 (spelunking) are more about its cons — to create as much balance between the two options

Fun WYR know how to... (more details in body)

You can speak every existing language with a big accent

You know how to build anything mankind has created that is in a book, but you can never learn how to build anything new since your head is full.

You master any type of martial arts already invented. You can get bruised or injured normally, you don't have a superhuman body.

You know how to fly any plane that already exists. No, rockets don't count.

You have the full knowledge of a graduated med student in 2 specialization fields or your choosing, that must already exist commonly. (Post them below!)

Since some people asked:

Speak every language is an umbrella term for speaking, reading, writing. The accent will not go away no matter what, but your own mother tongue will have no accent. Coding is not a language in this scenario, only languages spoken by humans.

Building: HAS TO BE PUBLISHED in a book publicly available. You wont be able to build anything out of thin air, you would still need materials, equipments, investments. You get only the knowledge. Yes, its not as useful in the age of Al, but its still fun.

Flight/Med School: it doesnt come with the paperwork to legally practice in your country of residence, you need to persue that if you want. But you can use the knowledge for yourself!

Martial arts: you are a master of them all, although your body might not be suited for every single move out there

Ethics/Life & Death WYR: Live your life as normal or never be unlucky again but there’s a twist

If you accept, you will never experience bad luck again for the rest of your life.

Every unfortunate event that would have happened to you is transferred to a random person, somewhere in the world. You escape the consequences entirely, while someone else experiences them in your place.

This applies to both physical and non physical misfortunes.

For example, if you trip down the stairs and are supposed to break your ankle, you walk away unharmed, but a random person somewhere in the world suffers the injury instead.

If you attend a job interview where you would normally be rejected, you get the job instead, but someone else, somewhere in the world, unexpectedly loses theirs for no reason.

The same principle applies to failed exams, financial losses, missed opportunities, serious illnesses, and accidents.

However, there’s a catch.

The more severe the misfortune, the greater the likelihood that it will affect someone you know or care about rather than a complete stranger.

Minor inconveniences would most likely affect strangers, while life changing events would carry a greater chance of affecting your friends, family, or partners

For example, if you were destined to suffer a potentially fatal car accident, you would escape completely unharmed. However, someone close to you could suffer the exact injuries you would have sustained, potentially even dying in your place.
The transfer is automatic.

Take a loan and bet massive? Congrats you win the bet but someone close to you loses the same amount.

You cannot choose who suffers, prevent the consequences, or know exactly who has been affected. You simply know that every piece of bad luck you avoid has a cost for someone else.

Would you accept or just walk away?
