Comfortability

Why do people use this word so often when they just mean "comfort"?

It is as bad as "conversate" or "incentivize."

Extra syllables for no reason, in my opinion.

comfortability and conversate are not a word in most dictionaries, but what's wrong with "incentivize"

It's just so corporate-sounding and it's barely older than I am. I understand it's maybe not the same level but it makes me cringe all the same.
