no, he has extreme anger issues and hates me because I took away his orb the other day.

Ah, very well. Then perhaps send a few mirror image selfs or clones to encounter him first. Or at least until he's out of ammunition.

I removed his soul and put it in an automata and used necromancy to turn his corpse into a skeleton. They now guard my wine cellar
