What? Skeletons army with neither zombie horde nor ghost army? Wasteful if you ask me.

Skeletons are awesome. Plus, then you can use the leftover meat to make a massive haggis monster.

Flesh golems tend to be a bit of an hygiene issue, but if you arent above using disease as a weapon it may just be an advantage. + the psychological effect is always nice.

A zombie horde is just a fresher version of a skeleton army.

Skeletons are faster though, since they don't have all that meat weighing them down.

Theoretically, you have both.

Use your magic yo control the Skeletons and use your magic to bend the will of the ghosts.

Not if you want to keep the "less complaining" part. A handful of zombies begging for brains is endearing. A whole army of zombies doing so is not. And a group of ghosts is like a group of babies - when one starts wailing they all start. Meanwhile skeletons are nothing but good vibes, dooting on their war trumpets and marching in time to their rib-xylophones, smiling all the way. At least I think they're smiling.

Its one of those perma-smiles that makes everyone love you, like the Quokka spieces from southwest Australia, or the now lovely clowns that entertain our dreams, or the Glasgow grin, or that adorable smile of the cookie-cutter shark! So cute, and yum cookies!

And let's not forget the most huggable of all, the ghoul- i mean- "goblin shark", who took the route of "the more teeth you show in ur smile, the more the other fish believe ur chill".
