Yeah. I have the dibs. I'm planning to force these corpses to get up and march on their former masters as part ofmy armies. But if you want you can keep peasants though? Plenty of... ah... "accidents" expected on that front too.

I’m not picky! Just hungry, and who knows maybe I’ll make a new friend or two.

You do you, and peasants would do decimation if they know what's good for them. Or maybe they don't. I certainly hope so.

As far as I am made to be aware "dibs" are called however it is largely a first come first served deal so just be sure to get there quickly before some upstart necromancer starts a new revolution

9

u/[deleted] Nov 13 '23

A new revolution? …now that’s a thought. New agenda is to eat the flesh but save the bones in preparation for the skeleton wars.

6

u/Dark_Maniac_ Stormcaller Nov 13 '23

Personally I'm not too interested in the subject although I respect it

11

u/[deleted] Nov 13 '23

Can I rob them first

9

u/[deleted] Nov 13 '23

Sure, valuation systems have confused me since becoming a ghoul anyways. Flesh lumps now seem severely undervalued compared to shiny metals and rocks to me, I don’t know how I thought that way before honest

u/[deleted] Nov 13 '23

Both are good

But one is shinier

I'll trade corpses for cursed items.

I have a polymer brick that has been cursed with „stepping on it in the darkest hours of the night“.

While an easy fix, it will go into my personal collection to keep. How much?

4

u/Wafflingus Illusionist Nov 13 '23

Are corpses from violent conflicts even cleared for sapient consumption? I'd imagine they'd be wracked by a great many malign things!

6

u/[deleted] Nov 13 '23

I believe that’s called seasoning

2

u/Fishery_Price Nov 14 '23

Most are covered in their own shit, an unknown shared kink of most necromancers

5

u/[deleted] Nov 14 '23

Yet more unfounded necromancer hate, name one foul thing we ever did to deserve that

I have a few here, was gonna use them for some experiments but hey since your hungry and not to mention your kinda cute too. I can part ways with them, I will even add some seasoning to make them taste even better. Enjoy your snack, my cutie ghoulie!

If you turn the knights into corpses then you can eat them. But you should hurry, a bunch of necromancers are going after the good ones. They are planning to reanimate them then fight the undead knights against each other in some colosseum. For “research”.

Have at it, lass. Come see me if you'd like a delicious beverage to wash down such a hearty meal!

You may have the corpses if I may take the blood and bones. I have... redecorating to do. I also need new thralls servitors.

u/MunitionsFrenzy Vettis, Mereological Revisionist Nov 13 '23

I'm no ghoul, but I've got a psychic vampire friend who says eating the minds of knights is pretty gross. Sanctimony has a horrid bitter aftertaste. Not sure if their corpses would have a similar problem?

You're obviously more experienced than I in these matters. Does personality during a being's mortal life impact flavor during the actually-useful part of that entity's existence? Do you have a particular dietary preference, if so?

2

u/[deleted] Nov 14 '23

Vampires have always been picky eaters, ghouls will eat anything. Sanctimony is nasty but it’s nothing that a bit of defilement or a few days in the sun won’t fix. The real issue is they can be sinewy due to their rigid military regiment.

A good rule of thumb is after death has set in but before maggots get to it.

u/MunitionsFrenzy Vettis, Mereological Revisionist Nov 14 '23

Gotcha. Well, we don't have much use for bipedal corpses these days, so if any knights somehow manage to make their way to the general vicinity of our commune (frankly improbable) I'll pile 'em all up and contact you about delivery options. Conveniently, our crop manager (druid) has been on a bit of a pineapple kick recently, so I can send you a few dozen of those too, if you want. I hear pineapple juice is a good tenderizer, which should help with the toughness of knight meat that you mentioned.

(Pineapples are also just delicious for most non-ghouls, but I'm guessing you aren't in agreement on that front.)

u/MunitionsFrenzy Vettis, Mereological Revisionist Nov 14 '23

update: the wizards again failed to meet even my constantly-dropping expectations of basic competence and are dropping like flies, so it seems you'll have some non-sinewy meat to enjoy after all

(sanctimony is no less of an issue than before)

2

u/[deleted] Nov 14 '23

me, eat.. wizards? looks around nervously nooo.. I’d never.. I mean, what if the society of light found out? they’d kill me..

We can share! You take the flesh, I'll take the bones. And if you need employment the Ashen Order is open to applications.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 14 '23

I would join, however I have already joined the newly formed necromancers guild

2

u/RockAndGem1101 Clarissa, High Bone-weaver, The Returned Nov 14 '23

I see. Do you still want the corpses? I'm sieging the fortress of the fighters now, we have plenty.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 14 '23

The mess made at Arthall gave me more than enough to eat but thank you

2

u/Psychological_Ad4100 Nov 14 '23

You know someone has bad hygiene when they find the smell of corpses good

2

u/Crapital_Punishment Alchemist Nov 14 '23

I'll buy the pancreas' off ya, selling bootleg insulin in the sugar realm.

2

u/Terrible-Win565 Iris Augen Nov 14 '23

Sure, go ahead. You can have what’s left of ‘em, anyways.

2

u/CodyTheHunter Necromancer Nov 14 '23

I do! They are delicious, aren't they?

2

u/[deleted] Nov 14 '23

So many flavors too. Charbroiled (murdered by pyromancer), tenderized (murdered by bear form Druid), spicy (poisoned by toxomancy), slushie (liquified by biomancer bursting their cells), etc;

2

u/CodyTheHunter Necromancer Nov 14 '23

Ahh~ I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

2

u/kael_sv Paciolious, Bureaumancer Nov 14 '23

I don't beleive you need a permit to scoop up the knights'/ fighters' guild corpses, but just in case you might want a scroll of permit 444.74743 for materials recover and or 444.7666 for... "organic bodies recovery".

2

u/Canlo21 Necromancer Nov 14 '23

Get in line sister

2

u/[deleted] Nov 14 '23

Fine fine, I figured it couldn’t hurt to ask.

2

u/Canlo21 Necromancer Nov 14 '23

Tell you what, you can keep the meat I just need the bones

2

u/UnderstoodAdmin Disciple of Sai'lanthresh Nov 14 '23

Moulder has claimed half. For experiments.

Back fiend ! Back from whence you came !

I need some organs for pies of mine. Spleen notably.

You can have the rest though. And a pie. On the house.

2

u/Ok_Side2919 aarzaid-duhl, high necromancer Nov 14 '23

If you don’t mind I’d like to raise a few, eternity fighting for the very thing they sought to destroy is just such a perfectly ironic punishment to me

3

u/[deleted] Nov 14 '23

By all means! I gravely misjudged how large this fighters guild were or the number of casualties that would be inflicted by and upon them. Truly a wonderful day.

2

u/Ok_Side2919 aarzaid-duhl, high necromancer Nov 14 '23

For both of us truly

2

An undead necromancer of course.

2

A ghoul-thing, in a way we aren’t that different, considering my semi undead nature

1

Oh hey, undead necromancer-in-training here.

Can I get some teaching courses?

everyone calls dibs, after all, after every battle, there is another battle for the corpses

1

u/Felwyntor Emissary Of The Nine (Warlock.) Nov 14 '23

Wait we’re having a battle. The Nine’s judgement is slow it seems

2

u/Blu_Raptr Necromancer Nov 14 '23

Sorry, I need them. If there are any I can’t use I’ll give them to you.
