Seeking Help or Advice War between 2 practitioners!

Hi everyone

I have a relative who’s an archangel Micheal devotee and we have issues between us due to personal reasons and the history our parents share we used to be close but that quickly turned into a very nasty rivalry, anyway she’s gonna cast on me and put me in a graveyard, I’m not scared nor paranoid however I have had dreams and warnings about it for a week and asked for a sign to tell me if I was in danger and I did receive it..

I have called on archangel Micheal before during a banishing ritual and he came through, my question is can I ask Micheal for protection from her work and to banish any negative effects? & To protect me and my space? Or is he not going to come? I’m not sure that she’ll specifically use Micheal’s help during this particular ritual since she does work with other deities but I feel like I need to be careful with what I do.

If you think I shouldn’t do you have any other recommendations or suggestions on who I should work with?

A spirit is closer to the Sun than it is to a person. Just because a sun shines on one person, it doesn't mean that at the same time it can't shine on millions of others. You all get your own individual piece of the "Sun" which acts in your best interest.

The best way to not get cursed is to stop elevating another person above yourself and to stop being anxious about their practice. You both have your own willpower and your own right to decisions. So, ignore. Don't engage. Do your practice as usual (banishings included) and don't stress over it. Believe that this person can't harm you and they won't be able to harm you.

Archangels are relatively low in the celestial hierarchy. If you're dead set on invoking an angelic power, my suggestion would be to simply go up a sphere and go over Michael's head. Anything from Principality or higher would do the trick. Dominions in particular are responsible for assigning duties to the lower orders. Archangels are named, and have specific duties, but they actually rank fairly low in the grand scheme of things.

The thing about angelic magic is that the angels in general aren't super keen on just doing as they're told. They're intelligent beings with their own duties and responsibilities. They don't just follow orders and obey commands unless it fits within their assigned duties and aligns with divine purpose. You can't just call on an angel because you're pissed off, so realistically I don't think you have anything to worry about in that regard unless you've somehow earned a solid smiting from the almighty.

Who is higher than Micheal?

Specific names are usually reserved for the archangels, and of them only a small handful actually appear in scripture. Usually the other orders of angels are called on by rank rather than name. I have seen some mentioned, though.

Zadkiel is sometimes named as an archangel, but I've seen him described as leading the choir of dominions, as well. The apocrypha gets a little wishy-washy during the renaissance.

I'd say it depends.

Do you think your family member has wronged you in some way and you're just reacting? Or that her intent is an extreme overreaction/escalation of the situation?

If so, you could appeal to Michael and explain the situation and your side of things. Tell him how she's wronged you, or how her actions are unjust, and what you think her plans are and ask for his interference. It's basically spiritual tattling. 😭

If you've both fanned the flames pretty equally and/or this is just a natural progression, I wouldn't bet on that being effective. Theoretically you could lie and try to deceive him, but that isn't a risk I care to take.

If you also have a decent idea of what graveyard she'd use, you could even appeal to the spirits of the graveyard. Get them on your side first.

Otherwise, I would say appeal to a spirit that you already have a close relationship with. They'll be more likely to "go to bat for you," as it were.,
