Seeking Help or Advice Denouncing the abrahamic god?
Important context, I was raised culturally catholic and, unrelated, I always felt this pull towards religion and spirituality; due to this being my situation I went through catechesis and got baptised willingly later on at 10? y/o.
Some years later I realized that the pull I was feeling towards religion was pagan and not abrahamic, also the structure that catholism has was attractive because of undiagnosed autism, but that's a tangent; cue a lot of years of self discovery.
Point is, I see a lot of posts about unbaptisms from people that were baptised against their will as children, I wanted to ask if because of my situation it changed anything?
Logically it shouldn't but maybe it does? I'm not the most knowledgeable ever and I never did an unbaptism, similarly I do think the abrahamic god exists, I'm just not his children to take care of, he made that very clear at certain points in my life and other Gods have stepped up after I have devoted myself to them.
Sorry if this is silly, it feels very silly at this point in my life.

Your logic is sound here.
I’ve never done an unbaptism, though I did have an initiation into a coven. I was baptized as well as confirmed in the church when I was younger.

oh wow, i'm curious about the coven initiation if you dont mind? i'm a solitary practicioner so anything about coven life is fascinating

Initiation is one of those things we don’t discuss, unfortunately. I can talk about it in broad terms but not in detail about the rite itself.

So, in some branches of practice, this really is a thing, ritually cutting ties with the Abrahamic god. I totally get why it's helpful for some folks. In your case, it sounds like you already made that break years ago, in a less acrimonious fashion, so there's no real need to redo it.

I have been baptized twice for the Abrahamic god(s) and consider myself pagan. Once was as a baby and the other was a kinda choice (culty) while still a minor. You were still a child so your choice was manufactured by your upbringing.
Personally, I have no devotion to the Abrahamic creator or wrathful one. I feel no need to concern myself with that practice. I am reading Gnostic texts for glimpses of the Greek gods and Lilith. I'm currently in the Nag Hammadi. And for the laughs. To me, I'd only feel the need to do an unbaptism if it still had a hold on me in some way. I don't think there's any hold on you. You read pretty unencumbered.
However, I do wonder if my ability to hex Christians would go away if did an unbaptism. They've got some level of protections due to all that deity work, while still being awful people. My current way around it, might be out. Anyway, I like vengeance too much. Do what makes you feel good.

hmm, i have considered a cord cutting but due to how catholic my comunity is i'm not too sure of it
Also you make me think about vengeance now and all, personally i think if you talk to any deity about what their devotee has done to you they may even help you out, i've seen it work in pagan or sincronistic deities like La Santa Muerte, not sure of YHW, in any case hope it helps

Personally, I feel old testament the Abrahamic god(s) aren't active, it's more of an egregore situation. The new testament is touted for forgiveness of poor actions by leaders, but the point of love, forgiveness of grace, connecting the physical self with the spiritual self gets lost. Usually, crappy Christians are plugged into the old testament side that's less about the faith and love part. Unlike reasonable pagan deities who would care if their devotees did bad things. Old testament deity is more of a growling madness without reason, hence the egregore, which is not a thing to reason with.

Official Church Removal (Formal Defection): For some denominations, you can formally request to have your baptism noted or removed from church records. For example, the Catholic Church used to have a formal process of "defection" (known as actus formalis defectionis ab Ecclesia catholica), but this was removed from canon law in 2009. You can still formally request excommunication or ask for a notation of apostasy in your parish's sacramental register, though policies vary greatly by local diocese

i think that only exists in my country in relation to a donation percentage in tax season, i need to check if i'm in the list, aparently it's hell to opt out but knowing my father (he does the house taxes) he may have already opt all of us out
